Okay, I apologize for there being no column but with a family emergency followed by a break from college; I just let it go.RAW notes, I was unimpressed with the fact that RAW consisted of mainly tag matches pushing Survivor Series promos. However we found out Y2J will be debuting next week, but we all knew it was coming. The Michaels v. Orton promo with Orton coming out on top was okay but needed to be done for the match; it would have been better to do the traditional contract signing beat downs. The debate thing is really lame for a "filler", this should have been done some other way I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH!; it really brought the show momentum, what little it had, to a screeching halt. It is also obivous that it looks like the roster splits may be coming to an end. I am not thrilled about this but understand why WWE is heading this way. All shows are suffering in the ratings department, but more so ECW and Smackdown. Also the release of Mordetsky aka Masters does not help either. If he asked for his release, then fine but if he was fired then it's a bigger loss then thought. Masters was becoming a guy you could build something around; he would have made a good feud if the right person was found or a good U.S. champion if given the strap. He was becoming the "old" Carlito, this "new" Carlito needs to just go; WWE is struggling enough he does not need anymore problems.
ECW notes, once again it to was also plagued with Survivor Series tag matches. I was actually hoping to not have that since it was ECW and since the rebirth that show has done things differently; this time it followed suit. I do not know what Vince was thinking but I did not like it, I was actually bored and wishing for TNA to come on a day early just to save my scorched retina from this PPV promo garbage. You
should promote each brands matches on the specific brand not all brands.
TNA notes, TNA was pretty good this week especially the main event. I was so hoping they would take the gamble and give the title to Kaz, but that did not happen. I know it would be a big gamble to have Kaz be the face of TNA, but it may have paid off; well we now know Kaz can put on a good match. We also saw Booker T join TNA, now if they would sign Hall instead of pay by apperance crap TNA may go somewhere. This is the only thing that concerns me, TNA lets talent appear when not contracted.....WTF!? TNA can not do this anymore they are on a network, not Fox Sports Net everyone gets Spike. If you want to keep fans, keep the same talent so people and TNA can see and have some good stoylines. Not to mention, it is just not good business and it goes against almost everything my college business textbooks teach me.
