How Santini Sees It! Vol. 13

RAW was decent the new set took a few minutes to get used to, but I do like it. I do like the HD thing even though I do not have an HD television yet. I am still rockin' the one I bought in my senior year in High School. Nice to see the Maria/Ashley promo considering this website reported the exact way it went. The Mickie/Beth angle is going good the whole can't win story as not be done in awhile, the only problem with this angle is it can be very predictable. Yet again we seen a botched spinebuster from Triple H, however Triple H's spinebuster to Ric Flair was understandable. I don't think the blame should be on Trip but more William Regal for taking the spot so badly. I was also not a fan of the handshake segment between Randy and Jeff, that was until Jeff went into the crowd; that idea was awesome. I thought it was funny too when fans just started yelling thier names in hopes Jeff would say them. I also was laughing cause Jeff kept telling people to move so he could get through, I enjoy the crowd spots because they never go as planned; but it was good for the angle.

ECW had the same exact set as RAW, it is a big set so to change them like WWE did with the older ones just does not make sense; but the set does not make the show. I did enjoy the mini-rumble but I was not thrilled with the winner, I am not able to really get behind the heel version of Shelton and never have bee able to. We also seen the debut of Kofi Kingston, and I was disappointed because he looked bigger in his promo videos; also to his opponent missed those two spots!. The double axehandle he fell before Kofi hit him and Kofi's heel kick the guy just fell wrong. Did anyone also notice Kofi's opponent was a Tyson Tomko wannabe? I feel really bad for Kofi and hope the match next week will be better, I did get over the size thing rather quickly and was able to get behind him. We also seen what I am saying is a shot back at TNA with the kid that keeps getting beat up, both angles on both shows are entirely stupid and whoever decided to use those needs to either be more creative or just be fired. Finally, the reign of C.M. Punk has come to an end, but I am not glad I think he is one of the best wrestler's on ECW. I am just glad it goes to a WWE vet, we all know this was supposed to happen; but then that horrible act happened.

TNA was really just lame, there main event was a three way for a belt (tag team) gee this is the millionth time they have done this and it is old. Lethal lost his title, but who did not see that coming I'm mean he broke character (i'm fine with that) then he guaranteed a win you knew then what would happen. Brother Ray should stick to wrestling because his insults do not relate to anything current, storyline wise. A heel is supposed to insult the opponents not the interviewer. The shark boy thing is really stupid it pretty much shows how clueless TNA is to current wrestling. If your going to take a shot at the rival company, you should know thier active wrestlers! Stone Cold is an active talent (just like Mitchell Cole, J.R., Lawler and so on), he has not been an active wrestler since the invasion angle. I am sure Vince seen this, I really want to see if he responds.

A miscellanous note, in the new TLC reality show The Bussey Bunch which covers the daily life of the promoters of Professional Championship Wrestling (PCW). A wrestler who works for the company as Shadow is none other than TNA's Lance Hyot. The Bussey's run a pretty big ship for just a Texas promotion. I do not live in Texas but if they do not have a television deal other than TLC's show you have to ask yourself what the......!

Until next time
