| I might seem a bit agitated about pro wrestling these days and for that I apologize. For these TWNP articles I have been so negative I am sure those reading them are sick and tired of it. Well, if those in the know in the business would wise up and pull their heads out of their a**es I wouldn’t be so negative. Never have wrestling storylines been so stupid as they are right now at this moment. There hasn’t been any original thinking in so long, I am beginning to lose faith in the industry. Why can’t they put their heads together and come up with what they had back in the 90’s? The swerve when Hogan turned heel and joined the NWO was probably the best storyline in ages. No one saw it coming and it helped to rejuvenate the business for quite sometime. I was really going to start tearing into Monday Night Raw once again, but now to my dismay, I saw Jeff Hardy lose the Intercontinental belt to Chris Jericho. Big surprise I must say, but then come Tuesday morning I am seeing Jeff has been suspended for 60 days for violating the wellness program once again in the WWE. What the hell is wrong with him. He was the odds-on favorite to win the ladder match and move on to get a shot in the next year for the heavyweight title. Now that has been flushed down the toilet because of his stupidity. He was moving up in the ranks and was getting some high profile matches to make him look strong and look forward to many months of being on top. I am glad this happened because he was deceiving us all, if you’re going to mess with illegal drugs, you will get caught sooner or later. Now with him getting busted for this, who knows who will come out on top in the ladder match. I am sure it won’t be MVP though. Well, that’s just my guess. You can bet your bottom dollar that Hardy upon his return will be jobbing to a lot of guys to teach him a lesson. I would be surprised if he went up to main event status ever again. He f---ed up and now he will have to pay for his stupidity, to Jeff I say, “you blew your chance man-you are an idiot.” You won’t hear me singing accolades about him ever again and that is a promise… Now back to my ranting about what we have to look forward to on Monday Night Raw, on ECW Tuesday’s, and Smackdown Fridays. I don’t know if there is anything to look forward to, I am still trying to figure it out. To be honest I could careless about Wrestlemania this year. In years past I looked forward to the big event to come along. Now, not so much-actually, not at all. There is the possible retirement of Flair, the ladder match which now includes MVP (yippee) and the exclusion of Hardy (dumba**), the farce match with Mayweather and Big Show, Undertaker’s match against Edge, the triple threat match where HHH will win, Umaga going against Batista-who I might add probably isn’t too happy he is no longer a main eventer-I can see why he is called “The Animal” though, then there is some bikini match with women that wished they were wrestlers, and Finlay going against “the- past-my-prime” JBL. I’m sure there will be other pointless matches added to this wrestlemania, but as I write this they haven’t announced any. We know there won’t be an Intercontinental or United States championship match. The Tag Team championship matches probably won’t happen cause no storylines have been made to make them even a tiny bit interesting to care what happens with them. It’s really tough to want to relegate 3 hours to a show that I can’t stand anymore, but seeing as how I am a writer, I suppose I have to watch the very thing I write about. Thank God for TiVO.. I had completely forgot that Raw was 3 hours on Monday the 10th so I missed the first 45 minutes. I won’t have a complete rundown of what it was all about cause I did that last week as a change for this article. I figure if you missed it, then you had better things to do and besides my friend, you didn’t miss much anyways. I will just give you my thoughts on what happened and a short synopsis of the show and if it was worth my time. At least they are fulfilling some kids wishes with John Cena contributing to the cause of sick kids. Big Show and Mayweather tried once again and made it look a little better this week, but in the end the outcome is quite obvious. I did notice that the crowd could have cared less for Mayweather and actually liked it when Show tossed him out of the ring. I have to admit, I liked it as well. It’s too bad they didn’t use Nikolai Volkoff, the Iron Sheik, Mike Rotundo, and Barry Windham for a real match on Raw. I have to think it might have been pretty good. What was the reason to have them come out anyways? Oh yes it was to toss Jillian Hall out of the ring.. how stupid and a waste of time to see it. What a waste of good talent from the past. Why was Kane in a throw away match against HHH? I suppose it was to help show that HHH is a great wrestler and will overcome the odds to pull out a win at WM24. It’s another waste of a good talent, I can’t believe that Glen is letting Vince throw him to the wolves like that. Money talks I guess. Edge and his cronies were at Raw, yippy….sorry I just can’t get excited about this man anymore….too bad CM Punk had to be part of this rant and he lost besides. I actually think the guy is quite entertaining, but as far as Edge is concerned, blah, blah, blah, boring!!! You had to figure there wouldn’t be a winner with Michaels and Cena. When Cena was winning and did his FU on Orton when he interfered, the crowd blew up. But then again, they booed the man also. I don’t think the crowd knows what they want to do when it comes to Cena. You have to give the man props though, he can be a face and a heel all in the same minute. He’s filming a movie right now so you have to know that he will not win WM 24. HHH will be the winner and then where will Orton go? Who knows…maybe he will have to wrestle a worthwhile opponent, yeah right. WWE is really screwing up and I just don’t get it. Don’t get me wrong, when it comes to these athletes, I respect what they do and always will. They put their bodies on the line for the people to enjoy the shows that are put on. They do things that I wish I could do. They are at the mercy of the writers on the shows they work for. So far, the writers don’t really know what they are doing with these athletes. It’s too bad that the only interesting thing for pro wrestling so far this week is the suspension of Jeff Hardy…. That’s my 3 cents worth, til next time….
