| Match Card for WrestleMania 24 as of March 17, 2008 and my predictions: Triple-Threat WWE Championship Match - Randy Orton (c) vs. John Cena vs. Triple H: I think it’s quite obvious that HHH will win this match. He’s the odds on favorite to take home the title only because of his missing last year and jobbing to so many wrestlers in the past many manias. WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match - Edge (c) vs. The Undertaker: The record has to stay intact for the Undertaker, and maybe this time he will get his long awaited title run--barring any injuries that is. ECW Championship Match - Chavo Guerrero (c) vs. Raw/SmackDown/ECW Battle Royal Winner- I have to think they will stay with Chavo to retain the belt, but it would be nice to see Tommy Dreamer get it. Money In The Bank Ladder Match - Ken Kennedy vs. Chris Jericho vs. Shelton Benjamin vs. Carlito vs. MVP vs. CM Punk vs. John Morrison: Now that Jeff Hardy is out of the running it’s really hard to say who will win this match. I think the two that might stand out are Ken Kennedy or Chris Jericho. Career Threatening Match - Ric Flair vs. Shawn Michaels: Should be a pretty good match, in the end Shawn Michaels will win. It will be a very emotional end to a superb career for Ric Flair. Raw vs. SmackDown Match - Umaga vs. Batista: (before I come up with my prediction on this match I have a side note- I guess another tag team bites the dust cause Brian Kendrick didn’t help Paul London when he needed it when they went against Umaga on Monday night. So my complaint that we won’t see tag teams for WM 24 is coming true).Okay now onto my prediction, it won’t be a technical match that much is for certain. In order for the match to continue for sometime to come, it will probably be a controversial ending, either way I see Umaga beating Batista. BunnyMania Lumberjack Match - Candice Michelle & Maria vs. Beth Phoenix & Melina: Honestly the only thing going for them is it’s a T and A match. And I don’t mean the wrestling organization either. So really, who cares who wins, in the end all men win. Belfast Brawl - Finlay vs. John "Bradshaw" Layfield: For all the hell he has been through, Finlay should win, but because McMahon likes JBL, I am sure it will go to him. Unless of course Hornswoggle comes back and interferes in the match. Raw/SmackDown/ECW 24-Man Battle Royal - Winner gets an ECW Championship shot the same night against Chavo Guerrero. This match is anyone’s guess, so unfortunately I don’t have an answer for this one-maybe Tommy Dreamer. Big Show vs. Floyd Mayweather: We all know who the final winner will be. It has been hyped quite nicely on sports channels and the build up has been gone well. In the end though, the boxer will win this match in some shape or another...probably a disqualification by Big Show…You never know, I might just change what my predictions will be come next week. After seeing Raw and where they were taking it this week, I will stick to these. I have a couple of things to say about Raw as well, one being the match with Ric flair and Mr. McMahon-I know they tried to make it a good street match and all, but the pace of it was like watching cement dry--atrocious--at least until the low-blow by Flair and when the table was used. As I said above, the inevitable destruction of tag teams has taken another step towards reality. Now with the team of Brian Kendrick and Paul London having a controversy after Brian walked out on Paul during a match against Umaga, the tag team picture just isn’t looking too good. And by the way, where are the tag team champs anyway, maybe I blinked and missed them for the last month on Raw. Oh yes they were in the Raw roster vs. Orton and Cena match but not for long. I wonder if the altercation between Umaga and JBL will go anywhere. And speaking of the ending, you had to know that HHH would come out and clean house on both Randy and John. All in all Raw was once again slightly meaningless really. They have one more Raw to go before the “super bowl” of all shows, I just hope it’s better. I hear that Jeff Hardy’s house burned down, good thing he wasn’t home when it happened. Lets hope he pulls his head out of his butt and gets on the right track for good this time, he could have a fantastic career if he would do that. That’s my 3 cents worth, til next time….
