| Now that Ric Flair is gone from the scene of pro wrestling and Wrestlemania is in the history books for another year, what do we have to look forward to in the WWE? I had thought that they had rounded the corner to a brighter future after Raw of March 31st. In my opinion they have sunk their own ship. I want to give them a chance and really ratings don’t lie either. It looks as if the Raw from April 7th had a rating of 3.3..now that’s pretty bad to say the least. They are doing something that people aren’t liking and it’s painful to see this behemoth of a show crash as it's doing right now. You could tell the crowd wasn’t into the show the whole night, hell even I was channel surfing as well. I don’t have TiVO but I do have a VCR so I taped the last hour of the show, I’m glad I did. It would have been a waste of my spare time to watch the entire show without being able to fast forward through the sesspool I had to watch. What can be said about the April 7th show? Horrible…horrible…horrible..oh yes, horrible is the only thing I can come up with for Raw. What in the world is going on? Is this turning into Bizarro world or something? How could we go from a history making Wrestlemania and a very moving and exceptionally well written Raw to crap this past week. I know I’m not the only one that has stated dissatisfaction for pro wrestling this year. I have already stated many times in past articles what WWE should do to improve their product so I won’t get into it in this one again. Ric Flair is retired, lets move on and get some other storylines going. I am especially talking about the supposed feud with Batista and HBK, will it really happen? Is the reason for this to happen because HBK didn’t fall down on the mat for Flair and lose the match? “Yawn” if you’re going to have a feud, come up with something else. Beating a dead horse seems like a good little line to use here. I was almost under the impression that Raw was going to show us a decent little storyline with the tag team division, we kind of got one, but not really. I guess having two matches is better then none, maybe it will turn into something down the line. Poor Val Venis, when was the last time he won a match anyways? Umaga is supposed to be the powerhouse I guess and decimate anyone he comes up against,it also looks as if Umaga and Batista won’t be continuing their feud after all. I thought they were going to send Umaga to Smackdown to give him some other different competition. So it begs a question, why did they even have that match at WM? What did it prove? That has left me and many fans wondering about that ridiculous match. If you’re not going to continue it, why even waste the time with it. Oh yes, WWE does this a lot with storylines. They don’t know what the hell they are doing more then half the time and that figure is being generous. Now we will be getting a four way match at Backlash. I’m trying to get excited about this, but it’s just not happening for me. Orton, Cena, HHH, and JBL. Blah, blah, blah. I can only think that it will be either Orton or HHH to win this one. It was said sometime ago that the USA network wanted Orton to be champ for a long time, I guess money talks and it's happening and Vince is listening. What I would recommend is shaking up the wrestling world and put the strap around someone besides these guys (only for a short run as a trial basis) and someone we would never ever think of..either Santino Marella or Colin Delaney..why not try it, it might spruce up the scene a little bit. Anything WWE tries doing right now couldn’t hurt. They start and stop storylines all the time, what’s one more? That’s my 3 cents worth, til next time…
