| Okay I get it, it seems as if my last article sparked a penultimate dismay in my comment that having the Warrior back in the WWE would spark some much needed ratings for them. I just brought the name up because he was returning to wrestling more then likely for a one time shot in a different federation. We all know that Warrior sucked when it came to his in-ring abilities and his much a-do about nothing promos. If you could understand the man when he talked during those, it would have been a miracle. But he did garner some ratings when he was around. It was just a thought to bring him up and believe me there is way too much animosity between him and Vince for a return to ever be possible. So I won’t bring up the name Warrior and WWE together in the same article ever again. Unless hell freezes over and Vince and Warrior actually do come together again.
Even though I didn’t watch Backlash, I heard about it and wasn’t in the least bit surprised that HHH won the fatal four way. Oh boy HHH as champion (if you couldn’t tell I am sarcastic in my retort). I suppose it was inevitable for this to happen and maybe, just maybe, it will help ratings, but I highly doubt it. I heard that the end of the match on Raw between HHH and Orton ended as the Sopranos Finale did by fading to black and no one knowing what the ending was. I guess I could say it sounded like a classic WCW show from the past. No surprise there. Who knows where they are taking this King Regal also as power hungry General Manager thing. A temper tantrum by Regal was had in order to “show his power and no one will walk all over me thing.” I suppose you can say in the coming weeks he will be using his power to cause havoc for the champ. It has been said that HHH likes Regal and what he does in the ring so if that is the case, we will be seeing a lot of Regal and HHH going face to face for awhile. This turmoil will probably keep going until Cena is done making his latest movie and then it will become a Cena Vs. HHH summer. Hasn’t that been done to death? I know Cena sells a ton of merchandise, but it’s time for a change. Give Cena a program with JBL upon his return, I don’t think those two have wrestled one on one before.
You have to probably guess that when Jeff Hardy returns he will be wrestling Chris Jericho in a program for the Intercontinental Title, unless his two strikes have caused a huge rift in his ability to jump right back into where he was before he was suspended-we shall see I guess.
With the summer rolling in fast and the temperatures warming up I would be extremely surprised if ratings for any of the shows WWE puts on go above 4.0. I know I will be outside when they are on (weather permitting of course) and thank God for the VCR, at least with that I can fast forward through the junk that is coming out of Vince’s head as of late. In any two-hour show I have fast forwarded through all but 10 minutes of the damn thing(s). It’s going to take a lot for me to want to watch the shows in their entireties at this time of the year. I say to any of you out there, boycott Raw if you see fit. Once the ratings go down to where TNA’s are, Vince might just come to realize what he is coming up with isn’t working. And what the hell was that thing with Murdoch singing to Cade on Raw anyways? Oh wait, it’ll be another tag team splitting up that’s what, imagine that.
