Do you remember the feeling you got when you heard the first 3 notes of the themes for Ultimate Warrior, LOD or Road Warriors, the Macho Man, or Bret Hart?

Nowadays you have wrestlers with full blown songs every time they come down. A lot of times the song doesn't even have anything to do with the wrestler. Yes yes, I know. Hulk Hogan has the most recognized theme of all time and it's a full song (i'm pretty sure it was originally Barry Windham and Mike Rotunda's tag team theme), but the theme was about Hulk Hogan's character and made sense. If you're going to have words other than catch-phrases, they should describe the wrestler.

Maybe it's not the theme itself. Perhaps it's the first 3 seconds. I mean, who doesn't get chills when they hear, "It's time to play the game"? Who didn't jump out of their seat when they heard that glass shatter? Which one of you jabronis didn't get pumped when the Rock told you to take a whiff? Same goes for RVD, HBK, Mankind, Ric Flair, and the original Hardyz.

My favorite WWE themes right now? Well I have to admit that I think HHH has the best theme. Why?

1) It sounds unlike any other theme
2) It's performed by Motorhead... f@c#!ng Motorhead!
3) Most importantly, it describes the wrestler. The theme is all about him... The Game.

I know I'm going to show my age on this last one, but there is one theme in the WWE that everyody knows. In fact, every wrestling fan in the world knows it. It's simple, it's ominous, and it also is all about the wrestler. The Undertaker. The simple bells followed by the organ was probably the easiest theme ever created for any wrestler, but it's also absolutely perfect.

If you care to comment, that's fine. Just don't waste my time on stupid emails with four letter words because I don't think Edge, Orton or Cena have the best theme.

Ok, that's all I have for now. Next time I'll be bitching about Smackdown.
