Looks like a great card, the only problem as far as I know is that not one of these matches is for any title. Maybe they will change their minds before the show is recorded, but it is looking very doubtful. Ouch..wouldn’t you think that the federation would put the titles up so that even more fans would have a vested interest in the show? It sure would make me want to stand up and take notice of it if there were some titles on the line. Instead, they are just throwing them together with no real reason to do it. I sure hope this doesn’t come back to bite them in their backsides. If the decision were up to me, I would change some into title matches, but that is just me.

It’s looking as if the feud between Chris Jericho and Shaun Michaels will be coming to an end at No Mercy. And I quote, “WWE World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho tells The UK’s SunSport paper that his feud with Shawn Michaels will end on Sunday October 5th at the No Mercy pay-per-view.” It has been a hell of a good storyline I have to say. The reason behind such a good feud is no mystery at all. The wrestlers themselves came up with the idea for it and were able to run with it without the WWE writers ideas. That tells me that Jericho and Michaels should help out with the rest of the shows to help bolster the fledging ratings. Once again, maybe that’s just me.

I am still loving Santino and Phoenix as a pair. They are still in my eyes the best thing going for Raw (except for Jericho and HBK) they should get more air time.

Orton, Dibiase, Rhodes, and Manu should still happen. “Legendary Legacies” or “DNA” (as a reader suggested) as the group’s name. These guys have all the talent and skill to pull off a great faction that the WWE definitely needs right now. Am I right or am I wrong on this one?

Hopefully Matt Hardy won’t lose to Mark Henry at No Mercy. I still can’t stand the way Henry is in the ring, it’s just horrible to witness. Hardy has all the skills to make a match superb and having the title for this short of time would be a travesty.

Big Show and Undertaker, hmmm, can you just see Edge interfering in this match?

It’s hard to say whether the WWE is willing to give the title to Jeff Hardy especially if it means HHH has to job to him. I would be extremely surprised if Hardy comes walking away with this. Kozlov could be a factor in this match.

Batista, need I say more?

HBK and Jericho is a crap shoot. It would be nice to see HBK win the title (maybe as a present for a man that has limited time left in the ring), but you have to love how Jericho has handled himself as the heel champ in this feud. I am actually going to be rooting for Jericho, he has what it takes to go against anyone in the federation (as long as he can continue to put in his opinions in the feuds he is in).

The past few articles I have been blasting the WWE and their lackluster ratings and I will say again, ratings equals money. Without ratings, you don’t earn money for the networks. Yes WWE is ranked up in the top ten every week, but the number is not where it should be. They need to look at what they are lacking and improve their product. Sure the USA Network loves the WWE, but as you recall not so long ago they let them go for a couple of years, if the ratings continue to slide, they might just do it again-albeit I am sure the contract ends in a couple of years so the federation still has a chance, only time and ratings will tell.
