As many know by now, Chris Jericho is still the World Heavyweight Champion, along with missing a tooth that is. Matt Hardy is still the ECW Champion, HHH beat Jeff Hardy (no surprise there), Beth Phoenix is thankfully still the Women’s Champion, Big Show knocked out the Undertaker, Batista beat JBL, Rey Mysterio kept his mask because Kane was disqualified in their match together. I still don’t understand the whole deal with MVP and Orton, but I suppose those guys had to have some airtime on the PPV and it was a filler in between the matches.

The show was better then any Raw episode, so that’s one good thing the federation has done for this recent PPV. I am sure it came as a huge shock that the Big Show knocked out the Undertaker. He didn’t do his famous sit-up move after going down either. Taker isn’t so unstoppable anymore I guess and with Show doing what he did, do you actually think this is over? Not by a long shot-but it begs a question, where is Edge? When will he make his return?

I am extremely pleased they didn’t take the belt off of Matt Hardy. He still has a lot to show the fans and with it being a clean pin with the twist of fate on Henry, I have to think this feud is over (hopefully). But they might tweak it out one more month between the two.

Is it any surprise that HHH beat Jeff Hardy? Not to me. Hardy is a superb athlete, but it’s still a bit risky to give the man the belt. I know the incident on the plane not so long ago didn’t help him any. It didn’t seem that big of a deal, but as I’ve said, if you’re in the limelight you have to be on your best behavior and not make any waves anywhere, no matter what. Hardy says he was sleeping on the plane when security asked him to leave because he appeared intoxicated before he boarded the thing. When you’re dealing with the airports nowadays, you have to be careful not to stir the pot, otherwise you’re gone pure and simple.

Batista is the man. How could you figure he would lose to JBL? Every time he makes his way to the ring, the fans go nuts, No Mercy was no different. The rumor is that he will start a program with Jericho, have to see.

Kane and Mysterio was way too short of a match. Maybe it was short because Rey is still not at 100%, don’t know. Either way, Rey keeps his mask and Kane will still be hated by the fans because of the chair shot to Rey.

Beth is still champ and I would have hated to see Candice Michelle beat her. (it was a horrible outing for Candice). There isn’t too many women that can wrestle worth a damn in this federation so it’s good they let Beth keep her title. And the story still continues for Santino and her as well. I am hoping they get a lot of air time on Raw.

The only reason they showed Orton, MVP, Dibiase, Rhodes, Manu, Punk, and Kingston was so they could set something up for Raw. Not sure where they are going with MVP, but maybe it’s a move from Smackdown to Raw with some sort of a trade for another wrestler-have to see about that.

The dark match was Carlito and Primo beating the Miz and Morrison. I am told it was a pretty good match. Too bad the higher ups didn’t deem it worthy enough to be broadcast on the PPV.

As time goes on, don’t be surprised to see Kozlov make more of an impact on Smackdown. Seeing as how TNA turned him down for a spot, I am sure WWE wants to show them that he could be a big thing. R-Truth might just be the next United States Champion before too long as well.

What will Raw hold for us this week? It’s anyone’s guess. With Jericho beating HBK, it’s a good possibility their program is done and something new will begin. Maybe Batista vs. Jericho?? How about Santino and who he’ll go against? What about Charlie Haas? Is he finally worth watching now that he has become the chameleon of the federation? Who will he imitate next? When will Priceless and Manu team up with Orton to form the Legendary Legacies? (yes that’s my name for them) Maybe with Autumn in full swing, the storylines will begin to improve and we can all enjoy pro wrestling WWE style again. Drop me a line on some of your thoughts on No Mercy and your opinions on Raw and what they could do to improve, if they even need to.

That’s my 3 cents worth, ‘til next time….
