I posted a column before clearing my head.

It happens from time to time... So you'll have to forgive me. After clicking "Submit", I saw Lucious Johnny F had a new column up that I hadn't seen. Excellent read, by the way.

While I lamented the loss of the glory days, and lambasted the lack of true wrestlers in the industry today, Johnny reminds us all that they do exist.

-Jericho is the World Champion.
-CM Punk is a main event contender.
-Priceless seems limitless in their potential.
-John Morrison has all the athletic ability in the world.
Shelton, if he keeps up the work ethic, can go all the way to the top.
-Up-and-coming guys like Evan Bourne are getting more and more time to shine.

The talent is there, and it's great talent indeed. However, I fear that they will not have the opportunity to shine. Sure, they may be put in high-profile matches, but will they be allowed to put on a 10 to 12 minute technical showcase?

I doubt it.

I also have to touch on the topic of Dave Batista- again, thanks to Johnny.

Honestly, I dug Batista in his Evolution days. He could only rise, especially with Triple H's blessing. Then he got injured. After returning, he seemed to have lost a step. I saw trepidation in his movements for a long time after returning. However, in the last 6-8 months, I see the confidence returning. I see him able to carry a match.

I didn't see that a year ago. And I'm happy about that.

Lastly, I just want to say that I sorely miss No Mercy. This videogame was epic and unparalleled. In the 8 or so years since it's released, the current WWE product has yet to live up to it.

It's a sad state of affairs that AKI chose to stop developing wrestling titles.

I don't usually publicly respond to another column, however Johnny brought up some excellent points. The RAW product is currently very strong, doing things they haven't done in awhile, and doing them effectively (for the most part).

I still feel that, although the technical talent is there, it will not be given adequate time to shine. The essence of my previous column is still the same. I lament this fact, as technical wrestling is by-far the most amazing I've seen.

Thanks for reading. Twice, to those of you that clicked on both of my columns.

Like always, comments, criticisms, and feedback are always welcomed!
