It’s been a slow news week in the WWE, but I do have some things to comment on. I should have shut my mouth when I complimented Evan Bourne on his spectacular match with Rey Mysterio. In parenthesis of my last article I put –“if he doesn’t get injured that is.” Well guess what, he is now injured with a dislocated ankle and a torn deltoid ligament from his match at ECW last week. Who knows how long he will be out. Another future star out on the sidelines from injury-he has been fitted with a boot, so at the time I am writing this I am unsure if he will be able to wrestle or not. But, I feel sorry for him, I really do. Now he might not have lost his spot, but it doesn’t bode well when you are trying to be the next big thing and you get injured when you are in the middle of a pretty good push. Tough luck Evan, hope you are back soon-if the boot doesn’t help that is. What will happen to Mike Adamle after Monday night? Will he still be the General Manager after Shane and Stephanie show up to confront him? If he is gone, who will take his place? If he isn’t gone, will Orton really leave WWE for good? That last part I highly doubt. So it just stands to reason that Adamle will be out of a job soon, one can only hope that will be true. Would Stone Cold come back and be the General Manager or how about Goldust? Have to wait and see. Now that Santino confronted the Honky Tonk Man, Roddy Piper, and Goldust, who will he face next? Will the WWE let him go another full year with the Intercontinental Title to beat Honky’s record? As far as I’m concerned, he should hold it for that long. I don’t see anyone in the federation that is as entertaining as he is in the push for the IC title. He puts on a good show and I enjoy when he is on television. Some weeks are longer then others (which is a good idea) and he is better as a heel then when he started out as a face. Give the man more air time WWE, he deserves it. As I stated at the beginning of this very short article, not much is happening in the WWE as I write this, but come Monday night, I am sure there will be more to comment on. Thanks for reading! That’s my 3 cents worth, til next time….
