Welcome everyone, you just found the diamond in the rough. I hope everybody had a safe and joyous holiday season. Right now, I would like to take a look back, not on 2008, but on a few superstars that can’t be with us today. They are probably raising Cain up there in Heaven.

Brian Pillman began his career with Stu Hart in Calgary with Stampede Wrestling in 1986. He wrestled in all of the top three promotions, WCW, ECW, and the World Wrestling Federation. In WCW he was the first ever Light Heavyweight Champion, a belt that he held twice. He also was one half of the WCW Tag Team Champions with Stunning Steve Austin as the Hollywood Blondes. On October 5, 1997, Brian was found dead in his hotel room, before the WWF Badd Blood Pay Per View.

Owen Hart was the youngest of twelve children to Stu and Helen Hart. He competed in Canada, Japan, and the World Wrestling Federation with his brother Bret Hart. He has won the King Of The Ring, the Intercontinental championship twice, and the WWF Tag Team titles four times with three different partners. In Kansas City, Missouri, Owen was being lowered to the ring on a harness, to compete under his Blue Blazer gimmick. Something went wrong and Owen accidentally got released to soon, causing him to fall into the ring.

Eddie Guerrero was born to wrestle. There was nothing that he couldn’t do. He worked all over the world, from Mexico, to Japan. He found overdue success in the States working for ECW, and then for WCW. In 2000, Guerrero made it to the top, the WWF. After many struggles in and out of the ring, Eddie finally won the big one, the WWE Championship at No Way Out 2004. He wrestled his last match on Smackdown on November 11, 2005 defeating Mr. Kennedy to earn a spot on the Smackdown team for the upcoming Survivor Series. Unfortunately he never made it to the event. He was found dead in his hotel room on November 13 by his nephew Chavo due to acute heart failure.

These are just a few of are greats that have been taken from us prematurely. Sadly the list is a lot longer. So to all of those men and woman who have worked so hard and sacrificed so much to entertain us, I just want to say thank you. You will never be forgotten.
