Orton did a surprisingly good crowd putdown speech and threatened everybody involved in the Orton HHH drama and their kids and relatives. The only thing he didn't threaten to harm was their dogs and cats. He's been working in front of the mirror to perfect his mic skills and is improving...but not much.
Vince comes out of the back with his cool Vince Mcmahon wind up man walk and Orton slides outta the ring and retreats up the ramp. Vince makes the predictable rematch at Backlash only this time he says its gonna be HHH and Shane joining Vince in the match with Orton and Legacy. Now we all know that Vince isnt gonna be in this match but it sounds good anyway. Randy tells Vince...from afar...that he wants a piece of Vince tonite at Raw and after some goading Vince accepts. And I do believe he will don the black Levi's and sweatshirt and come out to get a few shots in on the boy.but I never believed that it was gonna be that simple. I expected some interference and got it.

Mcmahon proves that he's still got what it takes and for awhile there he does a pretty good job of smacking Randy around. Orton sells every thing Vince throws at him and most of the time he oversells it but hey...its the boss. However,Vince soon goes down and Randy begins making those stupid Orton faces and the Vince Mcmahon beatdown begins. Legacy comes out as we all knew they would and it doesnt look too good for Vince at this point. Whoever will save him?

Shane comes flying into the ring to rescue daddy but the numbers game still is too much for the Mcmahons. Even HHH joining the chaos doesnt seem to help. It looks like the Orton stable is going to just beat the crap out of the suddenly powerless and ineffective Mcmahon family and all will be lost and the Earth will spin out of orbit and life as we know it will be over. Will the age of Orton rise from the ashes of armageddon and rule Earth. Will our women be Randys sex toys and our children be the slaves of Legacy?

Just as we think that its gonna be bad guy day on Raw Batista makes his much anticipated return and in a matter of minutes the evil forces of Randy Orton are destroyed and the battered Mcmahons stagger to their feet and line up behind Batista as the Orton gang stagger and reel up the ramp to safety.
With veins popping and spit flying Vince snatches up the microphone and lets the Orton crew know that instead of himself,Vince Mcmahon, participating in the match at Backlash it's gonna be Batista joining Shane and HHH in the upcoming PPV that for Gods sake better be a lot more enjoyable than the last few because I really want to like watching rasslin and will even if it sucks...but please Vince make this one good...please for me okay.

In other wrestling news Carlito and Primo win over Morrison and Miz on a pretty dull and stupid match that apparently doesnt mean spit to WWE and is a waste of wrestlers who are very good and would be way better off beating the crap outta each other in individual matches. That would be interesting and entertaining though and that doesnt seem to be what WWE is all about anymore.
What I did find entertaining however was the Santina drag bit with Beth Phoenix. Now that was funny and I don't know how Beth kept a straight face throughout the whole bit. Sad to say that this upcoming feud will be one of the better ones in the future and Santino is a very funny performer and entertains the crowd and Beth is great as the bewildered ex girlfriend he turned on. Look for this to go on for awhile and Beth will have to hold back the beating she's eventually going to give Miss Wrestlemania till the whole thing is built up. Unless WWE does as they frequently do and blow the whole thing with a too soon ending...Vince if your reading this please dont disappoint me I have been A Fan for my whole life and have stuck by you thru thick and thin.

The real diva match was very good as always with Raw vs Smackdown girls fighting it out.and Micki James gets the pin as she should because she is awesome and I wanna marry her. I still say that these girls should have their own show and the ratings will go thru the roof. Sure ,some people say that they dont watch wrestling to see girls fight and thats fine for them. Those guys probably like Kofis mini wrestling panties and Morrisons abs more than girl matches but give these chicks a chance. They are as good as or better at the whole sports entertainment thing as most any male entertainer and I would much rather get a break from the main events with a girl match than another stupid rehash of something we have all seen 20 times already or another Jonn Cena movie commercial...jeez

Rey,Matt,Jeff,Punk,Kane,Steamboat,Show,Jericho,Edge and Cena have a match and really is just too many people and a complete waste of time. There were some good spots though but who cares who wins it and this is a good time to grab a snack...man, what a waste of talent though and Vince,pay attention...we are over all this crap and need new individual feuds and a lot less talkie talkie.

So basically what was once a day as anticipated as Christmas or my Birthday turned out to be just another Raw and even though there were some good moments the show was just average and average is not what you want to see on the day after wrestlemania
I never really liked Batista and didnt miss him at all but people are fans of his and they were happy and I was happy for them...not. Vince is still great at what he does and I hope he never dies but you gotta get better idea people Mr.Mcmahon...really you do and not just another retired wrestler but a real person who sees things from a different perspective. Like maybe a humble little column writer from the Detroit area or something...I was just sayin.............
