John Morrison fresh from his beating at the hands of ex shower buddy The Miz vs Evan Bourne kicks off the show and its way better than the match Bourne had with Rey Mysterio on this weeks raw.
Actually a very impressive display of wrestling from where I sit here on the couch.

Now bear in mind that I'm no brainiac who can list every piece of wrestling data ever, I'm just a guy who likes to watch wrestling, hence the name of my column. I've been watching this crap good and bad for 42 years that I can remember and I've seen a lot over the years. It's been a lot of fun doing this writing thing lately while I recover from my accident and am waiting to get back to work and the guy who runs this website is cool enough to let me do my column here.

Anyway ECW has changed a lot since the old days and I miss the chairshots, lead pipes and blood. And whatever happened to picking up the stairs and bashing your opponent in the head with them? Ahhhhh the good old days.

So back to Morrison and Bourne, this match picks up towards the end and anybody can see that these two guys have a definite future with the company. Win by Morrison via moonlight drive and the 123. I was half expecting to see that jackass Miz come out and continue the thing he started on Raw but no such luck today and the pretty boy Morrison makes his way up the ramp only stopping to pose about 58 times.

Next up Koslov gets fed some guy I never heard of as his welcome to ECW and the match lasts about 45 seconds and is really just filler between commercials. Man, that Koslov is one of the least entertaining people in sports entertainment and I wish he would just give up and go to TNA. Really I do and so do a lot of others.

Finally in the main event we get Findlay, Christian, and Tommy Dreamer in the elimination chase for the title match at Backlash. Too bad Bradshaw doesnt wrestle in a tee shirt like Dreamer cuz he dont look so good shirtless...yeeesh

Good match by three of ECW's best performers but as usual there are too many commercials.This hour long show must be a real money maker for WWE if anybodys watching but really all their shows are. The Progressive chick has a frighteningly large head.

In the parts of the main event we get to see between commercials things arent going so good for Christian as he gets caught in that dumb locked up in the ropes thing they do but luckily for Christian Findlay Pins Dreamer after the celtic cross and now its on between Christian and Findlay to see who gets the championship match at Backlash,

As much as I would have liked to see Dreamer go on and win the title I'm afraid its all over for poor Tommy. Christian is the clear choice to start a program with Swagger it should be fun to watch if WWE plays it right. ECW is basically a good show but it needs to be grittier than it is and I dont know how they are doing in the ratings but they must be doing ok cuz its still on.

Keep those cards and letters coming in folks because I always appreciate hearing your comments whether they are just plain stupid or actually good. Me, I seem to get mostly the stupid people but every so often I get a compliment. I do this for me anyway so until I get fired yer just gonna havta put up with me.
