Hahahahahahahahaha man I love this website...all these differing opinions and back and forth shots between fellow writers gives me no end of entertainment. Wouldn't it be funny if they were all the same guy? You know, just doing two or three columns all by himself in his moms basement. Now that would be funny. Props to The Krisp for callin em out.

Anyway its been a long week and I have much to say about the state of WWE and the new directions things are slowly crawling to within the world of sports entertainment so without further ado welcome to my view from my couch.

Lets begin with the raw show from last Monday. Vicki Guerrero as GM of Raw works for me. She has a good gimmick and gets lots of heat from the fans. She works the mic well and never forgets her lines so alls well there. New WWE champ Randy Orton carries the title well and even though I am not a big fan of Orton I am glad he has the strap. Heel champs are the best and I hope the age of Orton lasts for a few ppv's at least. He cuts a good promo for a change and gets lots of booo's and you sucks from the crowd. The promo goes too long as they sometimes do but was effective despite its length. MVP cuts Randy's moment short and gets a match for later in the show...he aint got a chance but it should be good to watch at any rate.

The match wasn't as good as I had hoped but it didn't suck either. You could plainly see Randy calling the match in MVP's ear the whole match and commercials during the match are always irritating but we have no choice but to deal with em. After a mildly entertaining match we get an awesome finish when Shane jumps into the ring and beats the crap outta Randy with a kendo stick and after shredding the kendo Shane delivers a stunning flying elbow off the top rope and escapes Rhoades and Debiase by running thru the crowd and climbing a wall at the top of the arena where he taunts Orton with his Shane dance entertains the fans. A cool finish to this meaningless match and really the only part worth watching. Shane is good as always but Randy needs better competition than MVP on Raw. Who knows where this is going...

In the gay interest match we had to look at Kofi and The Brian Kendrick in the battle of the too short shorts...I don't know who won and I don't care.

Santina,Kelli,Brie Bella, and Micki vs Maryse,Beth Phoenix, Rosa Mendez and Jillian Hall in a match that is interrupted by Hornswoggle and Brie's twin Nikki. The only good part of this match was when Hornswoggle was standing at ringside and looked up into Santina's junk under his dress. Funny segment with very little actual wrestling and that makes it two crappy matches in a row.

We are treated to a good Matt Hardy crybaby promo where he waves his broken hand in a cast around and whines about how he has to wrestle tonight. Goldust makes his grand entrance and the match is underway. Matt ducks under the ropes and runs from Goldie for a few minutes like a sissy then when Goldie has his back to Matt to complain to the ref about Matts wussiness Matt whacks him in the back of the head with his cast and gets the win. AA very entertaining match and Matt and Goldust are true professionals who finally deliver a match thatdoesn'tt suck...Yay

Miz gives us a great promo and calls out Cena who isn't even there supposedly and if he is he doesn't respond to the Miz's taunts. Miz declares himself winner of the match by forfeit when Lillian doesn't do his bidding and call him the winner. Miz and Morrison will do very well in singles competition and I wish those two guys all the best. Miz is probably one of the guys I hate the most but hey, I'm supposed to hate him and if I didn't then he wouldn't be doing his job very well would he? The kids a genius on the mic and no slouch in the ring either. Good job.

Primo and Carlito take on Jamie Noble and Chavo in a fairly decent match. Does this mean Noble is a heel now? Who knows but really Jamie would be way better in singles matches. They need to take him seriously and give him decent matches instead of all this throwaway crap...buy hey , what do I know?

Shane vs Orton on next weeks Raw.

Big Show vs Batista in the number one contender match for Orton's belt at the next PPV . This match is pretty good but mostly all Big Show and commercials. Before Batista can really get it together and win the thing John Cena comes staggering out from the back apparently still wounded from Show throwing him into the giant spotlight at Backlash when Big Show won the match for Edge by interfering. Show lumbers out of the ring to get Cena and loses the number one contender spot by a countout to Batista. Cena gets his revenge on Show and Batista gets Orton at the next pay match.

A fair Raw but I was hoping for a better than fair Raw...maybe next week huh?

On to ECW

Its good to see Christian as champ on ECW as he is very good on the mic and is an awesome wrestler. He and Swagger will have a good series of matches and are polar opposites of each other so their rivalry will be entertaining. They have a rematch at Judgement day and Swaggers interruption of Christians match with Tommy Dreamer and the subsequent beatings received by Christian and Dreamer were fun to watch. Swagger has an attitude that most normal people hate and we all like to see him lose so hopefully the title will not change hands at the PPV. Poor Tommy Dreamer on the other hand must be on his way out because he can't catch a break it seems. Its good he still jobs for the company and gets the other guys over but the man needs at least one more shining moment don't ya think?

Finlay vs Tyson Kidd and Natalya was a good match too with Natalya distracting the ref so Kidd could club Finlay with his own shillelagh and get the win. Another case of good rivalries and opposite characters that will actually be fun to watch. And isn't having fun the reason we like to watch wrestling? I think it is people so support the shows and change the channel back after all the commercials they bombard us with and watch ECW.

The rest of the show was promos and Koslovs was once again full of foreign language that America is sick of hearing everywhere we go and as soon as Koslov gets a valid challenger and decent matches maybe things will get interesting for him. I still say he sucks but he won't be the first sucky wrestler to succeed and likely won't be the last.
Nothing much else to report on here cuz these hour long shows are so full of promos and commercials that there isn't much wrestling. The wrestling we got to see was great but there are just so many distractions in between the matches it gets a little silly sometimes

Superstars was also a good match show but again the amount of commercials and promos make it hard to watch. You have to remember to change the channel back to the show after you escape the world of commercials with your remote.

Michelle McCool and Alicia Fox vs Gail Kim and Maria was a good girls match and these chicks are tough as nails in the ring while still being unbelievably sexy. Not too easy of a job but I am sure they are very well paid. Michelle got the win for her team but that takes nothing away From Gail Kim and Maria because they are also very good at what they do and are always fun to watch. The womens division is up and running well and they really need their own show as I have mentioned before. Where else can you watch something as cool as this? Nowhere thats where.

Evan Bourne vs Paul Burchill and his ugly sister was pretty ok to watch with only a few missed spots but really I don't see much to get excited about here with these two. Bourne seems to be very popular with the fans and the announcers love him but I don't see the appeal. Maybe I'm missing something but I just don't get it. Burchill is a sometimes entertaining heel but there is much inconsistency with his character as he is sometimes a lot meaner than other times and needs some wins to cement his role in the organization. I don't know...maybe I should just lay off and let the boys play in the ring.

Ted Debiase and Carlito was the best of the show and both men show why they are the future of WWE. In a very well executed match with just the right amount of action back and forth it seems that Debiase and Rhoades will break away from Orton soon and go after the tag belts. The tag teams have been pushed back from the spotlight lately and need the revitalization that would give the them. Carlito is much better in singles competition anyway and is wasted on the tag program. That will give Legacy all the gold and lead to many more good matches like this one. Debiase beats Carlito and gives the fans another great match...except for all the commercials and lame promo spots Superstars has once again emerged as a good show with new directions and imaginative matchups and keeps things fresh in the world of WWE.

Hopefully things will stay good with these shows and even though it's not as good as it used to be honestly nothing is as good as it used to be and probably never will. The worlds changing, kids, and we are just here for the ride so strap on your seat belt and hope we all don't die this year...hahahaha wow where did that come from...oh yeah... have a fun day and tune in next time.

Bye Bye
