On to the ECW show for those of you who missed it. All in all the wrestling was pretty good but as with all hour long shows there are way more commercial interruptions than we want to see. But thats the way with teevee whether we like it or not...thats why remotes are the best invention ever.

Evan Bourne vs Tyson Kidd with Natalya...
A good example of two people meant to compete against each other as their styles compliment each other well. Although some of this match looked suspiciously like gay contortionist porn...which I've never watched...the wrestling was pretty ok. Bourne is a decent wrestler but not as good as all the hype he gets and Kidd is just some funny looking guy with a stupid haircut. Now that doesnt mean that stupid haircuts are rare in wrestling cuz there have been many many guys with hair gimmicks and Kidd does have talent. With a little more seasoning and practice these two will graduate to a more popular venue and may possibly join the ranks of future superstars. Natalya does her thing and tries to take out Bourne while the ref isnt looking but the whole thing backfires as Finlay runs in and whacks Kidd with his shillelagh while Natalya distracts the ref. A good match and fairly entertaining way to spend some time at home and so far ECW is rolling along pretty good tonite.

A damn good Jack Swagger promo follows and man I love to hate this jackass. Its the classic brainless jock meathead vs the cool guy when he goes against Christian and it works well for the fans. Swagger looks totally ridiculous in his ill fitting suit with his drooly toothy smile and sounds funny with his speech impediment, kinda like Kurt Angle used to sound but like Angle his wrestling speaks loud and clear. Swagger can wrestle and it looks like he was born to do this. Look out for this guy in the future cuz he will be around for awhile if he stays healthy.

Anyway his rant is interrupted by legend Tommy Dreamer who chases him outta the ring and an indignant Swagger..The All American,,,American retreats up the ramp and no, this wont be the last time these two will tangle tonight.

Koslov still cant get a decent opponent...nothing missed here. Why oh why do they keep pushing this clown? Why.........

Mark Henry vs Christian in the main event and normally this is the part where I complain about how much I dont like Henry but tonight the worlds sweatiest man looks pretty good in the ring and Christian makes the whole match worth watching. Christian has always been one of my favorites and is still as good as the day he first appeared on the scene. He carries the match and makes it look like a little guy like him could actually beat a monster like Henry. The match goes from good to great when Swagger runs in and mugs Christian and then Dreamer comes in and jumps on Swagger. Tiffany the GM of ECW comes out of the back and makes it a tag match so Dreamer and Christian vs Swagger and Henry is our new main event...after a bunch of commercials.

The rest of the match is full of high flying by Christian and even Dreamer flies over the top rope.Lots of high impact violence and all the men do a very good job in and out of the ring. At the end Christian and Henry end up on the mat outside of the ring giving Swagger the chance to get the pin on Dreamer. This match could have gone much longer and would have been way better than wasting teevee time on Koslov but hey, what do I know.

The verdict is that ECW has delivered yet another show of good wrestling in between promos and commercials and the obligatory montage of Randy Orton and his collection of stupid looking snarly faces and menacing stares into the camera. And it still looks like WWE is at least trying to put out a better product than the stuff they have been feeding us in the pre Wrestlemania days and if
they keep this up then it should be a good year for us wrestling fans
