Hello again, its time for the Raw rundown and if God forbid I misspell somebody's name its good to know I have some nerd writing me to correct my unforgivable error...sheeeeesh

As we have all no doubt heard by now Vince has a thing going with Denver Nuggets owner E. Stan Kroenke over being moved out of the arena in Denver cuz of the NBA playoffs. And if we have learned nothing about Vince over the years at least most of us know whats going to happen to anybody who crosses him.
When you have a primetime show and nothing but time to waste on it you can get a lot of revenge on people who piss you off. And if you are that unfortunate person who pisses Vince off you can have your name made fun of...Enos...rhymes with penis hahahaha and you will also have a fake version of yourself shoved on his butt like a victim of a playground bully. I thought the whole thing was funny as hell and these are classic television moments folks. You can bet that Enos Stan Kroenke will never get the measure of revenge on Vince that Vince got on him. Also I thought Vinces threat of starting the XBA was funny and proves that McMahon can laugh at himself.

Following all this excitement Miz comes out and trashes the Lakers in their own arena and cuts another brilliant promo. I hate this kid just like I'm supposed to and he will be around for a while if he stays clean and healthy. Cena comes out and is ready to jump on Miz when Dibiase and Rhodes sneak out and jump him from behind. As Cena is getting his butt kicked three way style Batista runs in for the save and hands out three powerbombs. Next in this big mess Big Show lumbers out and bashes Batista and Cena but is interrupted by Jerry Lawler who tries to beat up Show...tries...after King is tossed outta the ring Batista and Cena team up on Big Show and push him over the top rope. All in all a good opening for the show.

Kelli Kelli vs womens champ Maryse was a great chick match with a lot of physicality and good camera angles on the girls. Maryse tosses Kelli onto and over the announce table and loses by DQ but keeps her title of course. Another good womens match and I don't see how anybody can complain about half naked girls wallowing around on the floor...Maybe the gay crowd can do without it but all us real men like to watch hot chicks fight.

Funny Goldust and Hornswoggle promo with fake Jack Nicholson followed by way too many commercials and lame rehashes of stupid crap I don't care about come before the next match. Matt Hardy vs Regal vs Kofi in a three way for the number one contender shot at MVP's US champ belt with MVP at the announce table checking out the competition is next and it was another decent match. I love the whole Matt Hardy fake injury angle and Matt plays it up like a true veteran. It's kinda like in the old days when there was always some devious rassler with a fake cast or a crutch just waiting for the ref to look away so he can use it as a weapon. All three men sell for one another very well and it is a very well executed match. Regal is as good as he was 10 years ago and Hardy is always a good performer. Why these guys haven't been elevated to superstar status and people like Orton and Batista are getting the big pushes is a total mystery to me but I am sure somebody will tell me whats up with that. Anyway for some reason the match goes to Kofi who is the least entertaining of the trio and just goes to show that they will strap the US title to just any clown who comes along. There was a time when that title meant something but apparently that time has passed.

After all the hype the Flair moment is too short and we get no closure again. Ric cuts a killer promo on Randy Orton and all the people who say Flair should stay home just need to sit back and watch a genius at work. After Ric trashes Orton for a while Randy eases out to the ring and once again Ric sells to the kid and gets pounded on. Batista runs in for the unwanted save and Flair tries to get to Randy with Batista holding him back like he was a little kid. Followed by the return of Mr. Kennedy...Kennedy who comes out to interrupt Orton and ring his own bell. Maybe these two will start a series and actually be entertaining. Lord knows Orton could use an interesting opponent and WWE needs some fresh feuds.

Santino and Mickie James vs Vicki and Chavo in the first of two gimmick matches and this one is saved by a funny Santino who makes all his appearances worth watching by his comical ring presence and good bump taking skills. The match goes to Santino and now Santina and Vicki have a hog pen match...sooooeeeee

The second gimmick match has Goldust and Hornswoggle taking on Brian Kendrick and Festus in Kendricks quest for a suitable tag partner. The quest isn'ttt over yet because Festus ends up trying to kill Kendrick when Carlito and Primo ring the bell and set off the big moron at the worst moment. Festus and Goldust are prime examples of the kind of entertaining characters needed by WWE and both are good rasslers and are always entertaining. Goldust is a true son of Dusty just like his brother Cody and the Rhodes family continues to provide us with quality wrestlers. Goldust still hasn't slowed down in the ring and actually has improved since his last mini push several years ago.

Finally the so called main event comes around and has Cena, Batista, King, Kennedy, and MVP taking on Show, Miz ,Cody Rhodes, Dibiase, and Orton. Nothing much happens here as there are too many people, way too many commercials and too many entrance themes to leave time for much wrestling. Lets just say everybody did their signature stuff once and the good guys won...

A mediocre Raw for us this week but I've seen worse...what else can I say.

Bye Bye
