I’m sitting here wondering where my fellow colleague D Ray Morton is…I have missed his ranting and raving for the past few weeks. Ever since he flambayed me about posting on his day-Thursday, he himself hasn’t been writing for the past three Thursdays. Ever since Judgment Day was broadcast, I haven’t heard from him. I am willing to bet that he was very disgruntled about the whole PPV and the profession of pro wrestling as a whole and took time off. I don’t blame him for doing it. WWE has become stale on Monday nights and a waste of time, thank God for VCR’s and TiVO. Without them I am sure I would go insane myself…D Ray, where are you, I miss ya.Now onto Winter’s Storm… It has come to light that Chris Mordetzky aka Chris Masters has been rehired by Vince McMahon. I can’t imagine why he rehired the man. I also thought he was subpar in the ring and now with the new wellness policy in place how long will he last? You can bet he will look considerably smaller when he returns. Will they still refer to him as the masterpiece? If he looks as I suspect he will look, it will be funny to call him that. But mark my words, he will be a mid to lower card status right from the get go and will stay that way for his tenure in the WWE. Whatever… Ken Kennedy has a short video on youtube showing his wrists as being in excellent shape and having no signs of injury. To me the whole reason he was fired was because he was sloppy with other wrestlers in the ring and they felt uncomfortable to be in the ring with him. For as long as he has been wrestling you would think he would have refined his skills and worked on watching out for how he wrestles. He had the charisma and the mic skills to get the crowd going, but the two things that hurt him were his tendency to get injured and his inability to work well with the other wrestlers. It goes to show you how much pull Orton has in the company at the moment. Speaking of Orton, if you didn’t catch his interview fiasco he had in Mexico, you need to check it out also on youtube. Now if he would just put forth what he did in that interview into what how he talks in the middle of the ring, he would get way over. I was reading somewhere that a guy thought Orton talks kind of like William Shatner from a Star Trek episode. On the next Raw, see if that is true or not. To me, I would a…gree with…what…the…guy…says…about….Randy…and…his mic…skills. Even though I consider the weekly Raw show stale, I am being opened minded about this PPV called Extreme Rules. I give them one more chance and if this one blows, I will have a summer free WWE sports entertainment. I’m still trying to figure why the WWE brings in Ric Flair but still has the guy get his a** kicked by Orton in the middle of the ring surrounded by a steel cage. I was hoping Flair would have shown Orton a thing or two, but instead he gets booted in the head again with Batista looking on. I am still willing to bet Batista will be turning heel so whatever is happening between himself and Orton is short lived. Can’t you see HHH showing up after the Extreme Rules PPV? My money is on that to happen. Oh and don’t look for Randy to lose the title to Batista, no way. If he does, that will be the surprise of the week for me. Santino/Santina, I am hoping that this little farce of a storyline will end come Extreme Rules. I think Santino is great as comic relief and going against Guerrero in the pig pen will be all for the laughs-I am will to bet Chavo will interfere and help Vicki to win. With that being the case, lets put Santina away and move on to something else. It will be interesting to see if the WWE will give the ECW championship to Tommy Dreamer for a little while. The man has done all that was asked of him and to not give it to him would be a travesty. The money is on him winning but not keeping it for very long. Big Show and Cena, do I care, no… Edge and Jeff Hardy, I know these two will be putting on the match of the night. They have always excelled in these type of matches and will do so for this one. As far as the winner, my money is still on Edge, unless of course Hardy has signed on the dotted line to extend his contract in the federation. CM Punk had better start showing me something against Umaga and this would be the night to do it. If not, I could careless if he has the MITB briefcase. United States Championship will probably see a new champion crowned…who?? William Regal, he was the King of the Ring and hasn’t really done much since then. So what better way to prove he has what it takes then to win this match. I’m looking forward to seeing Chris Jericho and Rey Mysterio. They are both great wrestlers and I bet this match will be voted the number two match of the night. Those are my Extreme Rules predictions and thoughts, lets hope it is a pretty decent PPV. That’s my 3 cents worth, til next time…
