Been awhile since last I wrote for this website. It’s no wonder though because nothing real exciting has happened. Well, some things have happened, but nothing jaw dropping. I will start with Dixie Carter’s speech to the entire roster of TNA. I can see why she did it, but to have it broadcast for all the fans to see was just plain idiotic. I didn’t see the point to it and am disappointed in her decision to put it on Spike television. Airing your dirty laundry so to speak for all the world to see, was a poor decision and didn’t really have anything to do with the fans of this particular federation. The other decision to hire Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff to try to up the ratings for TNA isn’t necessarily a bad idea, I have to believe it will work to a certain point. But it will probably come with a price and that price will be the talent of some of the young guys that have been there since the beginning. Lets hope Hulk doesn’t come in thinking he can boss around all these guys and think he will single handedly turn the federation around. If this is his mindset, it will turn into the WCW in no time. We all know how that turned out don’t we? If Hulk is actually serious about helping out TNA, we will see a big turn around in the storylines and how he is perceived by us fans. My opinion of the man right now is one of an ego-maniac and one that is only out for himself and his own success. If this is true, Dixie just sunk a pretty damn good federation. I had thought Matt Morgan and AJ Styles were going to be the ones to lead the youth movement right now. I just can’t see Hulk losing to these guys or helping out their careers. …only time will tell I suppose.I caught Jim the Anvil Neidhart’s match on TNA, it was almost as if I went back in time to 1987 and caught a match from back then. I didn’t think he lost a step at all. Am I right about this one or not?? So Ric Flair is going to be married for a fourth time. I guess he didn’t learn his lesson. Why would the man do this to himself again? Maybe he just can’t stand to be alone and needs someone in his life. Weird, you would think that with three ex-wives and a lot of alimony to pay he would think twice about getting married for a fourth time. Stupid, but I guess I have to wish him luck and hope for the best. I watched Raw from England this past week and it was all pretty much the same old same old for the show. I did like the showing they had with Chavo and Ricky Hatton though. Does anyone really want to see HBK, HHH, and Cena at the next PPV? I would have wanted something different, but it didn’t happen. I know the reasoning having these 3 in the PPV together, money. I don’t have to like it though. They need to have the young fellas in the limelight, too bad CM Punk had to lose the title so quickly, I was just beginning to enjoy his heel turn. I am likely the Kofi Kingston and Randy Orton feud. Kofi has shown quite a bit to me in the last few months and I am liking the guy more then I have ever in his career. It was a good idea to put Kofi in a program against Orton, at least that was one thing I have liked about the WWE as of late. Roddy Piper will be guest host on Raw next time…will we see Piper’s Pit? It would be nice. Will he get into anyone’s faces and have a match? I don’t know, I have heard his health hasn’t been the best as of late and maybe he will just be there to be there and not get involved, I hope not. I’m elated to say that Christian is still the ECW Champion. Don’t get me wrong on this one, William Regal is a hell of a good wrestler, I just think Christian is better. I am hoping he keeps the belt well into next year. If the writers are wise, they will. But we all know that the writers for WWE aren’t really all there. Does anyone care about Carlito and not being on the air? I’ve heard he doesn’t really care what happens and has no input on what he should do. Hey, if he doesn’t care, then I don’t either. I love Batista being the heel, he is one wicked SOB in the ring. Is it me or when guys turn heel, they grow out their facial hair to look meaner? Is it kinda like the alternate reality Spock that had a goatee?? Still, I love it. I just hope that he doesn’t have to job to Rey. This has nothing to do with wrestling, but I have to say that Windows 7 rocks people!! If you have a chance to upgrade from Vista, I would recommend it highly. That’s my 3 cents worth, til next time….
