Column Posted by Wes Wrestling on 7:56:26 PM Mar 18, 2010

Well, this is the first addition of hopefully many of Opinions and Answers. I wanna thank the staff of TWNP for the chance to write these columns, and for running a great site for us fans, use the feedback portion of the site and show these guys the appreciation they deserve.

Ok, so a little bit about the column. First off, this isn't any ordinary column where i tell you what i think about this or that, don't get me wrong i'll still write on what I think, but the whole column isn't gonna hinge on me and me alone. What I am gonna try is to get you guys into the site as well. The columns will start out with me giving my thoughts on where wrestling is headed (WWE and TNA) and what I think/thought of the last editions of Raw and Impact. After that portion of the column I want you the site visitors to use the column feedback portion and ask questions and i'll try my best to answer them, don't have a question leave a 1 or 2 sentence statement. Each week i'll choose between 5-10 of these and post them in the column, they don't have to be wrestling related, but since we are on a wrestling site I would hope most are wrestling related. Please just because i'm welcoming you and suggesting that you use the feedback option, don't spam me and post nonsense that relates nothing.

As of right now my thoughts are who cares what the ratings say, TNA is putting out the better product. WWE may be getting more viewers and performing in front of bigger crowds all over, but TNA is just new and not the same ol' same ol' that we get from WWE each and every week. Yes, those guys in TNA for the most part are the same ones we saw in WWE in years past, but not in the same capacity. I agree the Hogan, Stings, and Flairs should just hang it up and not get in the ring and wrestle anymore, the future of TNA hinges on the incredible young talent they got they have to build these guys and push them not the old "retired" guys that are established as legends.

As for WWE, I assume i'm not the only one to see that they are doing the same stuff over and over. Lets be honest, they do because they can. Since the take over of WCW they've controlled the wrestling industry. IF you wanted to watch wrestling they were pretty much your only choice. Hopefully this will change in time since TNA is around and in my opinion is building a bigger audience each week.

Thats all for this one, check back on Tuesday i'll give my thoughts on the monday night saga and hopefully the first set of questions from you the fans.

Til Next Time
