You are at TWNPNews.com>Wrestling Games> WWF Smackdown 3: Just Bring It Review
What can i say? This game has got to be the most advanced wrestling game, or even just video game ever. The features and techniqes are amazing, even the way the wrestlers hit the mat are inspiring. Little details, like the way they leave the ring are exeptionally done. For example, as seen on many Raw's and Smackdowns, When Kane leaves the ring when he has won/lost a match, he sometimes goes out backwards over the ropes, this is included on Smackdown 3. Each wrestler has his own ring exit and entrance. The in crowd feature i am disapointed with. There isn't much to it really, you hop over the fence by running at it. And the fans make room for you. The referee feature i think is one of the best in the game. For example when i was in a tag-team match, both partners came into the ring, the referee went over the the opposite partner and blocked him from going everywhere, explaining he needed to tag to enter. This gives you time to do double team moves on the one opponent left. It is quite easy to be dq'ed. Say you tombstoned the referee, he wouldn't give a disqualification for that. But say you did it again, then yes, the match would end. The graphics are out of this world, every trademark of a wrestler is captured in detail. Each special move, has been improved from the past smackdown games. The Undertaker, when performing 'The Last Ride' puts his arm up up as a taunt before taking the wrestler up onto his shoulders. Interactivity is a number 1 factor in this game. Nearly every object is able to interact with you. Once you get this game you will not be able to put your controller down for anything!
