Although Ali is known primarily for his days as a boxer, Ali made several appearances in wrestling, such as his appearance at WrestleMania I.

Won the Olympic gold medal in 1960 for the Light Heavyweight Boxing division. Was once put in an airplane spin by Gorilla Monsoon.

Born Cassius Clay, he changed his name when he converted to Islam.

Lit the torch at the 1996 Olympic Summer Games in Atlanta, Georgia.
