The Los Angeles Rams drafted Goldberg in the 11th round and also competed for the Atlanta Falcons. An abdominal tear ended Goldberg’s career in 1994. In 1996 Goldberg signed with WCW and was sent to the WCW Power Plant. In his debut he defeated Buddy Landell, it was on 24th June 1997. Goldberg almost made his PPV debut at World War III 1997 against Steve McMichael, however Goldberg got injured. April 20th 1998 saw Goldberg defeat Raven for the WCW US title. July 6th 1998 saw Goldberg beat Hollywood Hulk Hogan for the WCW title. At 1998 StarrCade Kevin Nash ended Goldberg’s 173-0 winning streak when Scott Hall shot Goldberg with a stun gun, Nash also won the WCW title. Souled Out 1999 saw Goldberg get revenge over Hall in a ladder/stun gun match. At Slamboree 1999 Goldberg injured his knee as he beat Sting by DQ when Bret Hart beat up Goldberg with a steel chair. Halloween Havoc 1999 saw Goldberg win back the WCW US title by defeating Sid Vicious. 1999 Mayhem saw Goldberg make Sid Vicious quit in an I Quit match. Goldberg then sustained an arm injury and returned and ran in a Kevin Nash vs. Tank Abbott/Steiner match. 2000 Great American Bash saw Goldberg turn heel and it was Eric Bischoff’s big surprise. Goldberg pinned Nash to gain control of Scott Hall’s contract, Scott Steiner turned against Nash during the match. In April 2002 Goldberg and AOL Time Warner agreed to a contract buyout. Nineteen months after he stopped wrestling he returned to the ring and defeated Satoshi Kojima in four minutes. Goldberg signed with WWE in March 2003. 31st March 2003 saw Goldberg make his WWE debut and he speared the Rock. In his WWE PPV debut Goldberg defeated the Rock at Backlash 2003.
