Scott Hall first started wrestling in indy feds as a tag team wrestler. After doing the indy scene for a while, Hall joined the FCW and NWA promotions as the "Starship Coyote". After wrestling in these promotions for a while, he joined the AWA, where his success grew as Scott Hall. While in the AWA he held the AWA Tag Team Titles with Jim Garvin, Curt "Mr. Perfect" Henning, and Steve "William" Regal. After a small hiatus, he went to WCW and was managed by DDP as The Diamond Studd. After suffering an elbow injury and wallowing in the lower card, he went to the WWF in 1992 and was known as Razor Ramon, a bad ass-type biker. That was short lived, however, as his character was changed to a Cuban thug. He was brought in by Ric Flair to help dispose of Flair's rivals, thereby making him a heel. He started a rivalry with real life good friend Sean Waltman, known in the WWF as the 1-2-3 Kid. After suffering two embarrassing defeats to the Kid, his face turn came when was told by "Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase that DiBiase was going to show him how to beat the Kid in a singles match. Hall cost DiBiase the match, distracting him while the 1-2-3 Kid got the roll up for the 3 count. Ramon and the Kid became occassional tag partners after this point, continuing their friendship. In 1993, there was a battle royal held and the last two men remaining would face each other for the vacant intercontinental title, and those two men were, Razor Ramon and "The Model" Rick Martel. Razor beat Martel to win his first ever Intercontinental title. There was controversy over this, however, as Hall had never officially defeated Michaels. All the speculation was put to an end, however, at Wrestlemania X, as Ramon beat Shawn Michaels in what many call the greatest Ladder Match in the history of pro wrestling. At SummerSlam 94, Hall had what would come to be another classic match with the Heart Break Kid for the IC belt. This time it was HBK, with Diesel in his corner, vs. Razor Ramon, with Chicago Bears star Walter Payton in his corner. Payton helped Ramon win his 2nd IC title. Over the next few years Hall would win and lose the IC Championship 2 more times. The 4th and last IC title Razor won was at an In Your House PPV in 1995. It was suppose to be Shawn Michaels against Dean Douglas, but earlier that week, Shawn was attacked by 9 thugs outside of a Syracuse Night Club, therefore, HBK forfeitted his belt to Dean Douglas and that night Razor faced Douglas and beat him for the title. He also faced HBK at Summerslam 1995 in a rematch from Wrestlemania X, this time in a double-ladder match. Hall was also part of a group called "The Kliq" that consisted of HBK, HHH, Diesel (Kevin Nash), Razor and the 1-2-3 Kid. They were notorious for running the backstage area and causing trouble. Around six months after the Summerslam match, Hall gave the WWF his 90 day notice. His last match was one of his most infamous. Hall put over Kliq buddy Hunter Hearst Helmsley at Madison Square Garden. Later in the night, Helmsley and Hall came out after the main event, which featured a cage match between other Kliq-mates Michaels and Nash. The four men embraced in the middle of the ring, which was unacceptable to Vince McMahon, as some of the men were faces and some of them were Heels. In 1996, Hall jumped ships and went to WCW. On May 27, 1996 Hall showed up on Nitro, using his real name, and portrayed a WWF wrestler who was waging a war with WCW. The next week he confronted Sting, and told him that he would have a "big surprise" for him the next week on Nitro. The following week, Kevin Nash arrived in WCW. At the 1996 Great American Bash, Eric Bischoff announced that at the 1996 Bash at the Beach PPV, Hall, Nash, and their "mystery partner" would face 3 of WCW's best. When the PPV arrived, the match went on with only Hall and Nash taking on Sting, Lex Luger, and the Macho Man Randy Savage. At the end of the match, however, Hulk Hogan joined Hall and Nash and the nWo was born. Nash and Hall would go on as a great tag team, defeating Harlem Heat at Halloween Havoc 1996 for the Tag Team Championship and holding it for almost a year. They lost the titles twice, to the Steiner Brothers and then to the Giant and Lex Luger, but new nWo leader and WCW President Eric Bischoff ended up ordering that the belts be returned to the Outsiders on both occassions. Finally, Nash and Hall lost the Tag Team titles after having to have Syxx (formerly the 1-2-3 Kid) who comprised the original Wolf Pac with the two, substitute for Nash in a title defense. Hall blamed Larry Zybysko, the referee that night, for the defeat. This set up a feud between the two. Zybysko fought Hall shortly after. Zybyzko lost due to Dusty Rhodes turning his back on him and becoming the new manager of the Outsiders. A few more months of tag matches followed before Hall finally got a World Title shot against Sting by winning World War 3. He lost, but it was a major push in his direction. For the second time in his career, Hall took a break from Pro Wrestling to resolve some personal issues. When he finally returned, alot had changed. The nWo was now two seperate entities, nWo Hollywood and nWo Wolfpac. A few weeks later, Hall had to face Bill Goldberg. If he lost, Hogan would have to defend his WCW title against Goldberg. Hall lost, thereby making Hogan blame him for having to face Goldberg. This set up a match between Hall and Hogan for the main event of a Monday Nitro. At the end of the match, Nash ran down to help Hall. However, Hall rejected the help and attacked Nash. He stayed loyal to Hogan and nWo Hollywood and would go on to win the WCW Tag Team Championship again, this time in a comedy team consisting of Hall and The Giant. The Giant portrayed a heavy smoker, and Hall played a drunk dubbed "Last Call" Scott Hall. Shortly after, Hall became the "Lone Wolf". He faced Nash at Halloween Havoc, where Nash gave him two Jack Knife Powerbombs and left him in the ring. The nWo came out and Bischoff ordered them to dismantle Hall. Nash came out and disposed of the nWo, but refused to make ammends with Hall. Later that year at Starrcade 98, Hall came out and helped Nash win the WCW Championship from Goldberg when he attacked Goldberg with a taser. This set up another nWo swerve, as Nash defended the belt against Hogan. The match ended when Hogan simply tapped Nash. Nash fell to the canvas and allowed Hogan to pin him for the 3 count, thus reforming the nWo. A short while later, Hall sat out with yet ANOTHER injury. When he returned he won some singles titles, such as the TV and US Championships. After being injured again, he was stripped of the US Championship and he threw out the TV Title. The nWo once again reformed, this time consisting of Hall, Nash, Jeff Jarrett, the Harris Brothers, and Scott Steiner. They were called nWo 2000, or nWo Black and Silver. Nash was commissioner of WCW, but gave his commissionary powers to Jarrett when he had to take a short leave of absence from WCW. Jarrett used the commissionary position to boss Hall around, forcing him into pointless matches. Hall and Jarrett did not get along, setting up a match between the two for the WCW title. During the match Hall was supposedly "injured", and left WCW afterwords. Scott Hall, after going through many struggles with alchohol, was released from the WCW. He wrestled three non-televised matches for ECW in two days before being arrested for DWI on Christmas Eve. After being released he went to Japan to tour there, also doing some indy shows in the US. His return to the big time came in February 2002, as Vince McMahon had brought the original nWo, Hogan, Hall, and Nash, back to the WWF to destroy it. At the No Way Out PPV, The 3 men returned, costing Stone Cold Steve Austin his match against Chris Jericho. This would start a feud between Hall and Austin, climaxing at Wrestlemania X8, where Austin defeated Hall after a number of Stone Cold Stunners. Also on that night, Hogan lost to the Rock, then, in a show of respect, shook his hand. This did not make the Outsiders happy, and they came out and jumped Hogan, kicking him out of the nWo. On the following SmackDown!, X-Pac (formerly the 1-2-3 Kid and Syxx) joined the two, bringing the nWo back to a 3 person machine. A few weeks later, while feuding with the Rock and Hogan, the WWF held a roster split. The nWo (Hall, Nash, and X-Pac) were drafted to Ric Flair's RAW, and Hogan and The Rock were drafted to Vince McMahon's SmackDown! program. On the final show before the draft was in effect, the nWo faced The Rock, Hogan, and Kane in a six man tag match. The nWo's feud with Kane continued onto the new RAW program, where Bradshaw joined forces with Kane after the nWo trashed the old APA office. With Hall on the RAW brand along with his nWo cohorts, it can only spell out doom for Kane, Bradshaw, and the rest of Ric Flair's roster.
