History: Scott Levy, in the early stages of his career, played characters that were out of the rich, spoiled brat mode. He managed the Quebeccers in the WWF as a rich heel, and then was a heel announcer in the GWF. He went on to WCW, where he played a heel lightweight, but basically the same kind of character, the snobby rich kid. He feuded with Brian Pillman and Jonny B. Bad for the WCW Lightweight title, and got pretty good heat. After leaving the company, Levy next started getting attention in ECW with his current character Raven. He began gathering the Nest, and started feuding with ECW stars like the Sandman, and others. He won the ECW tag titles with Nest member Stevie Richards at one point. He went into a massive feud with the Sandman, going so far as to kidnap and brainwash the Sandman's wife and son. During his feud with the Sandman, Levy would win the ECW Championship twice, first on January 27, 1996 in Philadelphia, PA, then on December 7, 1996. He wrestled his last match in ECW in May of 1997, taking on Tommy Dreamer in a very wild "Loser Leaves Town" match that featured interference from Louie Spicolli, Lupus, Chastity, and then a post match run in from Jerry Lawler, Rob Van Dam, Sabu, and then the entire ECW roster. He began appearing in WCW at ringside with Stevie Richards, at one point being hinted at as being a tag partner of DDP. He later began feuding with Richards, and beat him at Clash of the Champions. Raven formed a new version of the Nest in WCW, and called it "Raven's Flock". It consisted of Richards, Billy Kidman, Perry Saturn, Scotty Riggs, Van Hammer, Sick Boy, Lodi, Reese, Horace Boulder, and Mortis. Levy and his Flock then went after Chris Benoit, but Benoit was offered a chance at the US title by DDP, and DDP used this as more of a way to get Raven over then to actually give Benoit a chance at the title. Raven won the US belt on April 19, 1998 from DDP, but lost it the next night on Nitro to Bill Goldberg. After that, problems emerged in the Flock, and after a feud with Saturn, the Flock broke up and Raven started hanging out with Kanyon. Raven then did a series of skits with his Mom at home, exposing him to not be the poor street urchin he claimed to be, but rather a rich boy who had felt ignored as a child. Shortly thereafter, Raven's old rival the Sandman emerged in WCW, using the name "Hardcore Hak". Raven faced both Hak and Bam Bam Bigelow in a hardcore three way match at the Uncensored PPV. The PPV turned out to be a bad time for Raven, as his sister Chastity betrayed him, and that led Hak to beat him and Bigelow. Raven then challenged Ric Flair to a World Title shot, but got Dean Malenko and Chris Benoit instead. Benoit and Malenko took him apart in a handicap tag match until Saturn ran down to help out Raven. The newly reformed duo then cost Benoit and Malenko the tag titles, and got themselves involved in a three way tag feud with the two Horsemen, and new champs Rey Misterio Jr. and Billy Kidman. After an intense match, Saturn and Raven won the tag titles after Kanyon returned, and knocked Billy Kidman off the top rope when he was attempting a shooting star press on Raven. Raven DDTed him off the turnbuckle, and Saturn and Raven became tag team champions. After tearing his rotator cuff, Raven sat out for a while, but began appearing with the Dead Pool (The Insane Clown Posse and Vampiro) in WCW. Raven's part in this group was short lived, however, as behind the scenes things weren't doing very well. WCW President Eric Bischoff held a meeting before the August 23, 1999 Monday Nitro in Las Vegas and offered anyone on the WCW roster a limited release if they were unhappy with the direction of the company. Raven walked out of the meeting, thus being released from WCW.

After leaving WCW, Raven returned to ECW, where he helped Tommy Dreamer beat the Dudley Boyz for the ECW Tag titles. Raven made it clear that he was back to aggravate Dreamer, and after Dreamer confronted him in the locker room about getting into his matches, Raven DDTed Dreamer and allowed him to get pinned by Taijiri during a match on TNN. This began the next chapter in the legendary Raven/Dreamer feud, in which Francine would defect from Dreamer and join Raven. During this era of their rivalry, a Tag Team title tournament was held. On March 4, 2000, the unlikely duo of Mike Awesome and Raven defeated Dreamer and Masato Tanaka for the ECW World Tag Team title at the ECW Arena. Shortly thereafter, Raven began negotiations with the WWF about possibly signing with them. They came to an agreement, and at the WWF's Unforgiven PPV event (held in Philladelphia, PA), Raven interfered in a strap match involving former ECW-mate Tazz and Jerry "The King" Lawler. Raven planted Lawler with the Evenflow DDT, allowing Tazz to get the victory. Raven and Tazz became a tag team, but the duo disbanded after a short run. Raven then entered the Hardcore division, feuding with Steve Blackman and others under the Hardcore Championship's 24/7 rule. After winning the belt a few times, a mysterious "Black Ninja" (who was later revealed to be Tori) began assisting Raven in his matches and helping him make getaways. After learning of the ninja's identity on an episode of Sunday Night HeAT, Tori was fired behind the scenes and the angle was dropped. Raven was involved in a 3 way Hardcore Championship match involving himself, Kane, and the Big Show that year at Wrestlemania X7. On the July 9, 2001 edition of RAW, in the midst of the WCW invasion angle, ECW was reformed, and Raven was a part of it. Later that night ECW merged with WCW, forming the Alliance. At the InVasion PPV event, Raven defeated WWF Commissioner William Regal. A short while later, Terri Runnels was introduced as his valet. This set up a feud between Raven and Perry Saturn, whom had been carrying around a wooden mop named "Moppy", for whom Terri was dropped as a manager. To get even, Raven and Terri kidnapped moppy and Raven put the mop through a woodchipper. At the Survivor Series 2001 PPV, the Main Event had major effects on the entire locker room. If the Alliance won the main event, then the WWF would be put out of business forever, with it's entire roster being fired. However, if Team WWF won, the Alliance would be put out of business. Earlier in the PPV there was an "Immunity Battle Royal", in which the winner would be on the winning organization. Raven did not win, however, and the Alliance lost the main event. After this Raven was sent to HWA, one of the WWF's developmental leagues, where he became a booker. During his time in HWA, Raven and Hugh Morrus won the HWA Tag Team Championship. When the WWF held a draft for their impending Roster Split, Raven was drafted to Ric Flair's RAW program via lottery on WWF.com. On the March 26, 2002 Episode of SmackDown! (the last show before the Brand Extension was in effect), Raven returned and defeated Maven for the WWF Hardcore Championship, thus bringing the belt with him to RAW. He lost the belt to Bubba Ray Dudley on the first RAW during Flair's Era. Raven is currently co-hosting the WWF's Saturday Night program, Excess, during the second hour (which recaps the events of that week's RAW) with Johnathan Coachman, as well as picking up the commentary duties on Sunday Night Heat, also with the Coach.
