not impressed with the newer family guy. i have the first 2 seasons on dvd, they are amazing.

The Green Hornet. seriously, this show only lasted a season or two back in the 60s, but its fantastic. i'm pretty sure it probably is one of my all-time faves.

Dexter was the only show listed up there that I watch.  What about Sons of Anarchy, True Blood, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia?  I agree that Family Guy has just gone downhill after the first 2 seasons, I loved The Simpsons up to like season 13 and then it just started to get tired, and South Park is still brilliant.

I also just got the Freaks and Geeks special yearbook edition DVD set.  I don't know if you guys remember this show because it only lasted for 18 episodes before it got cancelled, but it was great.  And true to form, NBC cancelled it in favor of pure crap.

i DL'd the Freaks and Geeks show a few years back and watched it in like 2 sittings. it really was an excellent little show, and the college "sequel" that came later ("Undeclared"? i can't remember the name for sure) was also pretty good.

I've still never seen Undeclared, but I've heard good things about it.  Although it's not actually a sequel to Freaks and Geeks, but it was Judd Apatow's follow-up show.  There was an interview with Apatow where he was talking about why shows about college seem to never survive, and he was saying it's hard to do them truthfully on network tv, because the truth is that college kids are high, drunk, and having sex and no matter what you do, you're fudging it.

Heroes sucked.  I never understood people's fascination with that show.
