Based on the context of your "edit" I would ASSume that you actually like the Miz, let alone he's world champ.  I hated that idea. I was kinda hoping for Orton to beat him and make him (Miz) get even more heat about complaining about not winning after cashing in MITB.

i'm not the biggest Miz fan in the world, but i don't mind the guy either.  i was more just mad that i actually watched a full episode of Raw (or so i thought) only for the biggest moment to happen after i turned off the TV (at 10:05)

Ahh..gotcha.  I dont mind him either (Miz) But I don't think he's main event status ready...at least not at this point in his career.

I think They'll give Miz a few months at the very best, then drop him back to the middle weights.

And apparently We're not going to be graced with John Cena's 3rd cousin Juan as it seems to be scrapped now. Guess they will continue with this "fired" angle.

Speaking of which, It's odd, Cena no longer an employee with WWE, can jump out of the crowd and interfere in matches and storylines as he pleases without security so much as batting an eye. Maybe other wrestlers that were fired by WWE should try this.

I think this angle might be taking a turn for the worst.

The "security" part of the angle was explained later in the show (Nexus attacked security that night they were formed so they're not gonna stop Cena from destroying Nexus)

King of the Ring thoughts (a week late, but so what? my internet wouldn't let me access this site and i was gone all weekend):

Rd1:
Alberto Del Rio  vs.  US Champ Daniel Bryan
i'm sick of people using cars in their entrances.
del rio is astoundingly mediocre in-ring.
bryan injures his shoulder on a dive to the outside, and del rio wins via straight armbar.

"Dashing" Cody Rhodes  vs.  John Morrison
cody rhodes is pretty uninteresting, morrison is somewhat above average
morrison wins with some variation of an enziguri

Drew McIntyre  vs.  Ezekiel Jackson
match ends in a double count out after like 2 minutes. lame.

Sheamus  vs.  Kofi Kingston
match didn't have much to it
Kofi comes off the top rope, but Sheamus connects with a big kick to advance to the finals

Semi-Final:
Alberto Del Rio  vs.  John Morrison
pedestrian match. Rey Jr. distracts del Rio allowing Morrison to get the win.

Finals:
Sheamus  vs.  John Morrison
match was pretty good. Sheamus worked over Morrison's injured arm for most of it, but Morrison fought valiantly. In the end, sheamus blocked a top rope move from Morrison and delivered a Razor's Edge to become the king.
i was totally rooting for Morrison in the tourney.

bonus match:
WWE Title / TLC Match:
The Miz (w/Alex Riley)  vs.  Jerry "The King" Lawler
my tv must've switched to slow-mo, because everything took for-ev-er to happen.
Cole stops Lawler from winning the belt, Lawler punches Cole, Miz sneaks up the ladder and wins. Oh good, a Lawler vs. Cole feud. Also, the match sucked.

two weeks of fun stuff followed by this show? blech, i'll be skipping it from now on again.
