-- As we reported last week, Paul Heyman is making a big impact on his return to the WWE creative team. Heyman returned to RAW this past week to give some new ideas for the creative team. Heyman is expected to be backstage at RAW again tomorrow to help the creative process.

However, Heyman's main focus is on SmackDown! Seeing as Bruce Prichard is currently on a hiatus, David Lagana has taken over as the SmackDown! writer and Heyman is also helping Lagana with SmackDown! shows. From what we've heard, Lagana is happy working with Heyman and gave his blessings to him as a co-worker.

Prichard is said to have been McMahon's right hand man on SmackDown! Prichard was always the guy who went out of his way for Vince to keep his writing position and avoid losing it to Lagana. Prichard is known to run to McMahon and bad-mouth to him about Lagana.

Paul Heyman's return to the WWE creative process is expected to impact Bruce Prichard the most. Prichard was basically Vince McMahon's right hand man for Smackdown. Prichard went out of his way to protect his spot and keep Dave Lagana out of the top Smackdown writers slot by bad mouthing him to Vince.

With Prichard on hiatus, Dave Lagana will take over that top Smackdown writer slot along with Heyman. Lagana has no problems working with Heyman and apparently has given his blessing to Heyman's return.
