- Despite Angle plugging a fight with UFC fighter Randy Couture, Couture claims that it is only speculative at this time and he'd need to get out of his UFC contract to do it.- Samoa Joe was recently interviewed on mondaynightmayhemarchives.com and in regards to his contract situation stated that it should be signed within a week. As we reported, in his recent conference call he claimed he has yet to sign a new deal despite saying he had a few months before. Some claim it was a work and that TNA wouldn't put the belt on somebody without a solid deal - yet in this latest interview he claims that he is a man of his word and he'd never bail on TNA - there a just a few "minor technicalities and trademark issues" to sort out.
- Johnny Fairplay will now be doing some stuff with ROH, that could be what Dixie Carter was discussing when she recently visited an ROH show (she is close friends with Fairplay). It is to early to speculate on a TNA/ROH talent exchange.
