Source: PWTorchWWE Smackdown creative writer and wrestling legend Michael Hayes (of Freebirds fame) has been suspended for 60 days after using a racial slur against Mark Henry during Wrestlemania weekend.
In a public gathering in front of everyone a merry Hayes' playfully head butted Henry and made the derogatory "n" remark, which Henry took exception to and took further with management. Apparently Hayes had been drinking and joking with MVP early in the night and thought he could do the same with Henry.
Believe it or not Hayes has used the word on a number of occasions, even flippantly in creative meetings, reports prowrestling.net editor Jason Powell.
