The official rating for this week's episode of WWE RAW was a 4.5. The show did hours of 4.25 and 4.81, with an average 4.53 rating for the night.

Despite the great rating, the show was still clobbered by John & Kate Plus 8 which drew a whopping 7.69. USA Network's main competitor TNT aired The Closer, which drew a 4.76.

USA has to be very happy with this number and likely isn't too bothered by John & Kate Plus 8's viewership. Now if John & Kate were on TNT, that would be a different story. USA Network's decision to do a commercial-free RAW was specifically because they wanted to beat TNT in the ratings war. The move didn't effect WWE very much because they don't get paid for commercials.

1. Jon & Kate Plus 8: 7.69
2. RAW Hour Two: 4.81
3. The Closer: 4.76
4. RAW Hour One: 4.25
