  • Last night, Pamela Paulshock, former WCW valet, appeared on the Jay Leno show as "Santa's Helper".

  • The Border Town Extreme Wrestling Show in Laredo Texas has been rescheduled to December 8th at Veterans Field. The former WWF and WCW stars are wrestling in the following matches:

    - Dusty Rhodes vs. Jeff Jarret.
    - Buff Bagwell vs. Konnan.
    - Ms. Jones vs. Tygress.

Mean Gene Okerlund will be the special guest ring announcer.

  • WWF co-owner Ric Flair will be the special guest on next week's edition of Byte This.

  • The following is a Smackdown preview courtesy of Yahoo TV:

Stone Cold, the Rock, Y2J, Kurt Angle head into WWF Vengeance on pay-per-view.

    Producer(s): Kevin Dunn.
    Original Airdate: December 6, 2001

The preview does not really reveal much about the show, only that the Vengeance main event looks to be unchanged.

  • The Sunday Mail in Scotland has a feature on Bret Hart. There was nothing of major importance, apart from him promoting the WWA tour.

  • Apparently the reason The Rock could not take the lead role in film "The One", now being headed by Jet Li, was due to his contract obligations towards the WWF. This continues with the WWF's reluctance to release major stars for film roles.

  • Former WWF Intercontinental Champion "The Honky Tonk Man" has closed his website after "A loss of desire after seeing the return of two of the biggest backstabbing liars in the business, Flair and Lawler." The site currently forwards to RingSideEdge.com and the Honky Tonk Man himself will make an appearence on the show next Tuesday between 6-8 Eastern.

  • Apparently the WWF split will see the Thursday "Smackdown" being renamed to "Nitro", formerly the name of WCW's pilot Monday night show. This second promotion is expected to be headed by WWF Co-Owner Ric Flair. Don Callis suggests that we may also see two Pay-Per-Views each month. Although UPN are expected to air the show in America, it is unknown thus far what International markets will do. However, BSkyB in the UK will most likely air Nitro since they have the rights to air Smackdown in the UK and will probably be able to perform a straight swap. Keep in mind nothing is set in concrete yet.
