Source: Duane Moore"An interview with Rikishi was played on Dee Snyder Radio this morning.
Rikishi misheard Dee’s name and called him “Steve”.
When asked how Twisted Sister affected his life he replied, “What’s that?”
Dee commented on the ‘Stinkface’ and how around his office they referred to it as the “AssMask”. Rikishi liked this name and Dee told him he could use it.
They asked him if he ever felt bad about putting famous people like Pete Rose’s face in his ass and he said that he was a nice guy but that once you were in the ring “you were messing in his business” and that everyone who wrestled him knew that it might happen.
They plugged the Rumble, with Dee noting that Rikishi had been an Intercontinental & a Tag Team Champion (he was?!? What, in the Samoan Swat Team?!?!) but never WWF Champion. Rikishi said that he would be giving the stinkface to everyone and would walk out the winner with the shot at the Title. He said that as a wrestler that was the dream that you had: To win the WWF Championship at Wrestlemania.
Dee complemented him on his dancing abilities, and Rikishi said to watch the Rumble and that you would see him dance after he tossed 29 other guys out. Dee noted that there would be a lot of chances for Rikishi to do the “AssMask”.
Rikishi commented that the Stinkface had was created in Mobile, Alabama, in a match with the Bossman where an old lady told him to stick his ass in the Bossman’s face. (Funny, I heard he got the idea from Pat Patterson…)
They talked about the reaction that different wrestlers had to the “AssMask”, noted that Booker T recently threw up. Rikishi said that he had seen “a lot of the boys go running to the bathroom right after.”
Dee commented that Rikishi and J-Lo had a lot in common, because they were both famous because of their asses. Rikishi noted that J-Lo’s didn’t have dimples and cottage-cheese.
Rikishi explained that he had three pairs of tights: his clean ones that he always washed, his tights that he sometimes washed, and his pair that were always unwashed and stayed in a plastic bag. Rikishi stated that he saved those tights for people that he really didn’t like. Dee suggested that those tights be dropped on Afghanistan, which Rikishi agreed with.
Dee asked Rikishi what his parents thought of his ring attire and the “AssMask”. Rikishi said that he “shows more than anyone” (what with his ) and he said that the first time that they saw him, he could tell that they were proud of him, but a little uncomfortable. He said that eventually his mom became a big fan of the character, and now was cool with it, but that when he went home he was always “mommy’s boy” first.
They ended the segment by again plugging the Rumble and wishing Rikishi luck."
