Stampede Invasion 2002 is going to be HUGE!!!
Stampede Invasion 2002 is set for Saturday, May 11th at the Southdale Arena. Stars of Calgary’s Stampede Wrestling will collide with TRCW stars in a huge night of professional wrestling. Already signed from Stampede Wrestling include Harry Smith, Principal Richard Pound, Dave Swift and Wavell Starr. More names will be announced next week. Former WWF superstars Chris Candido and Sunny as well as The British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith are also booked for this huge event. There is also a carnival with rides and games right at Southdale so get there early and take in all the fun as the doors open at 6:00 with first bell at 7:00 PM. Advance tickets available at Dick’s Pizza, 315 St. Anne’s Roard: general admission $12.00 kids 16 & under $9.00. ($15.00 & $12.00 at the door)
The British Bulldog Signs with TRCW
The British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith has signed with TRCW for May 10th and 11th. The Bulldog’s 15-year-old son Harry, already a 5-year veteran in pro wrestling, including a dark mark a WWF pay per view, has also signed with TRCW for the two dates.
Malibu & Cox screw Stardom!!
Steve Cox helped Johnny Malibu beat Rob Stardom Wednesday at Chalmers and Stardom is demanding a rematch.
Mikey Miracle scores biggest victory of his career!!
16 year old wonder kid Mikey Miracle beat Vance Nevada twice in the past week. Nevada, who just completed a huge tour of Canada, surprised the crowd at Chalmers by shaking Miracle’s hand and was heard back stage saying he was very impressed with Miracle.

ICW taking over TRCW???
Impact Championship Wrestling led by Showtime Robby Royce is growing every week. Founding members Royce, The Axe and TJ Bratt have added the 250 lb tank known as Karnage as well as The Gigolo. The Gigolo interfered in the main event tag team match featuring The Axe and Royce against Zack Mercury and Scott E Smooth Wednesday night at Chalmers after Spanky the ref was splashed by The Axe. Royce says ICW will grow as big as they want it to, as they have unlimited resources from their financial backer, who they will unveil at Stampede Invasion.
Wavell Starr and Principal Richard Pound to face Gene Swan and Brian Jewel at Stampede Invasion!!
Wavell Starr and Principal Richard Pound attacked Brian Jewel and Gene Swan after they won the TRCW Tag Team Titles at Spring Fever. They whipped the new champs with belts, and challenged them to and Indian strap match at Stampede Invasion, which the new champs accepted.
Defenders Of Faith Expanding……
The Shadow Chaser, the leader of the D.O.F. is adding new members every week. The D.O.F. started out with the Shadow Chaser, P. Worthington Love and Des Aster, then they added valet Sweet Dreams and 320 lb Mad Man Muir, and now another female who wants to be known as Private Parts.
The Shadow Chaser also introduced the new DOF Heavyweight Championship belt and appointed himself he first ever DOF Champion. He says he will defend it under DOF rules only, which only time will tell what that means.
Wednesday at Chalmers, TRCW was honoring female rookie of the year Lynn Adams, when the Shadow Chaser and Private Parts came out and attacked her. Alexis Vixen and Darien Karisma made the save and will face them in a mixed tag team match next week.
Get Well Caveman!!!
Legendary local wrestler Caveman Broda has recently had some health problems and we at TRCW, wish all the best and God bless you Caveman.
Broda has never wrestled for TRCW but has touched many of the TRCW crew who have either worked with him, or saw him perform.
Broda’s home promotion The CWF will be holding a tribute show on May 26th in Winnipeg with many on the TRCW wrestlers, including promoter Bobby Jay on hand to pay tribute to a legend and one the classiest men to ever grace the squared circle. If you want ticket to that event call 988-4986.
Rumor Mill:
TRCW will make their return to Brandon, Manitoba at the Keystone Center Amphitheatre on Friday, May 10th with the British Bulldog in the main event. There will be two Camera crews at Stampede Invasion taping the ent for future broadcast on the internet and possibly on television.
