Joey Styles did an online chat at the official website of the No Holds Barred radio show on December 5th. Below are some of the chat's highlights.

Joey said that he refused to work for WWE because the rewards from the job weren't worth the risk that he'd be taking. He also mentioned that WWE wanted to "own him" and stated that he'll never let anyone "own him".

Joey said that due to his day job, he can't work for NWA-TNA and attend the Wednesday night pay-per-views.

When asked to explain why ECW died, Joey stated that ECW made bad business decisions right from the start, like running too many shows and overpaying it's talent when the rival promotions tried to raid it's roster. He also said that ECW's product can't be blamed for the company's death.

Joey talked about violence, saying that he dislikes death matches and that there shouldn't be more than one match with blood per show.

Joey stated that XPW is trying to save ECW's legacy, which he felt was "prostituted" when WWE portrayed Stephanie McMahon as the owner of ECW.

Joey said that he wants AJ Styles, Low Ki, Red, Simon Diamond, Syxx-Pac, Jerry Lynn, Mike Awesome, Perry Saturn & Sabu to work for XPW someday and that he would add The Dudley Boyz, Tommy Dreamer, Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho, Stevie Richards & Rob Van Dam to the XPW roster if he could.

Joey revealed that he owns 50% of the 1Wrestling website.

Joey talked about XPW's future, saying that he wants XPW to run weekly events, which would including two TV tapings and two events for home video per month. He also said that XPW plans to get TV deals in 10 to 15 markets and eventually release a video game.

Joey mentioned that he's never met Vince Russo.

Joey said that XPW has what it takes to be a huge success, which is why he joined the company. When asked what he tells people who accuse him of selling out to ECW's rival, Joey stated that he is as good as the other announcers in the wrestling business and that he has the right to work for any wrestling company, even one that isn't WWE.

Joey predicted that if Brock Lesnar and Kurt Angle ever competed against each other in a shoot match, Angle would win.

Joey said that there is no upside to doing live pay-per-views and that XPW will tape pay-per-views in the future.

When asked if he plans to work for multiple wrestling companies, Joey said that he is exclusive to XPW now.

Joey stated that XPW shouldn't have invaded the ECW Heat Wave 2000 pay-per-view and that XPW's image still hasn't recovered from it.

The chat ended with Joey warning the fans not to eat yellow snow.
