ill be very suprised if the writers have their jobs after this week. that was probably the worst segment they could do right now............its up there with the whole "america sucks" angle which they also did at a very very wrong time. im still trying to decide on which one was worse

Sent in by TWNP Visitor Sean

I didn't watch; it's been a couple of weeks since I have. Wrestling just isn't the same anymore. Maybe things will get interesting again if they do indeed decide to change Raw to WCW Monday Nitro. Then they could change Smackdown to WWF Smackdown with both shows being owned by WWE.

Absolutely bereft of creativity. Vince hits a great idea about once every ten years. Wrestlers as cartoonish superheroes in the Eighties and Crash TV in the Nineties. He's abandoned storytelling for quick fixes. It takes time to build great stories. Vince works form PPV to PPV. The roster is also too big. Instead of superstars in every match, we get Chris Nowinsky. Developing talent is important, but not at the expense of the more gifted. Kurt Angle has the mic and wrestling skills to be an all-time great. However, Vince is content to leave him a boob. A new federation with $$ and TV exposure is needed badly. I hope Jerry Jarrett, or anyone, can save wrestling before Vince completely destroys it.

I think it's about time that Triple H loses that belt. Actually I think the Raw belt should never have been created. That whole bit yesterday that Triple H did just went to show that the WWE has no class. WE NEED ECW BACK!!

Sent in by TWNP visitor Anonymous

I thought the HHH skit was really funny. People should really lighten up a bit. I would agree that if they had 'actual' hidden camera footage of Kane going at it with a dead body on the side of the road, THAT would be in bad taste. However it was just a futile HHH attempt to make Kane look bad. You were SUPPOSED to know that it was HHH instead of Kane, and that it was not really a dead body. That is the gag! There is nothing funny about sex with dead people, but it is funny to have a heel dress poorly impersonate Kane and pretend he likes dead chicks to generate some heat. Funny stuff! (It was too funny when HHH said "Who is your daddy!")

I think the Triple H thing was ok until the brains segment, that was a bit much. Pranks are something Triple H is good at, but there has to be a limit. It is obvious the WWE is hurting they are no longer entertaining, and has just become so bland. Eric in my opinion is the only person on Raw who is entertaining.

Sent in by TWNP visitor Stunger1

wow HHH ed a manican.... the show sux......
Hmm... How about they take a mounth off and show re-runs of ECW :) then return and have a real wrestling show... hopfully UFC and/or TNA will get a normal TV deal soon.

I have been watching wrestling, mainly wwwf/wwf/wwe for over 35 years and I have never seen anything like last night. I am a diehard wwe fan since Bruno but last night I turned it off at the moment hhh and the wwe writers thought up this junk. Sex with a dead woman, It was beyond bad taste.

Sent in by TWNP visitor Shawn

That was the most tasteless and disqusting thing I have ever seen. I mean the HLA pushes things sexually, but this pushes the envelope morally as far as it could go. In a time like this where everyone has to be careful about things, just because of the current world situations, the WWE did the wrong thing in to try to attract ratings. By far the worst decision the WWE made since making Jericho the first undisputed champ

Sent in by TWNP visitor Jeff

Last night's RAW was really no different from any of the last few weeks in one major regard: The quality of the program stunk. The only difference being the "shock" value was disgusting instead of amusing. When the WWE used it's previous shock tactics, it was to humor us with DX, Val Venis or the like. Is a wrestling star all that appropriate, probably not, but then even if the gay angle between Billy and Chuck had gone on forever and turned into , at least it would involve two WILLING participants. There is nothing funny with even the "IDEAS" of Necrophellia or Rape, and the WWE and Triple H should be ashamed.

I was so disappointed with the PPV, and was hoping for a great rebound on Monday. The way they used Kane is sad. The WWE has so much talent, but they just don't use them. The whole sex tape thing with HHH, was it. After 10 years of watching, and 6 straight years of sitting in front of my TV every Monday night, I turned it off. I was in bed at 10:25 for the first time in years. I have been married for almost 4 years, and when I got into bed the Wife said, "it most have been bad, it's not after 11 yet." She was right, and I am not going to watch WWE anymore. Monday was the only show I still watched, until last night. I have no words to describe how sick the whole thing made me. So now I will need to find something else to do on Monday nights.

Anyone want to try some Pong?

After RAW Roulette a few weeks back, I made the half-assed decision to stop watching RAW. Naturally, my half-assed decision led me to watching RAW the next week. This week though, it was my mother's birthday during RAW and I missed it. I've thanked my Mom several times since then for being born on October 21, because I'm so happy that I avoided something so horrible. I plan to go out on that good note, and to stop watching RAW altogether. To me, all the talent on RAW is now about as important to me as WCW talent was when I started to watch wrestling. I guess I'll never truly get the chance to become a Booker T fan, and RVD will revert back to that guy I keep hearing great things about. That's no big deal though, because Smackdown! is fantastic. Every wrestler is being used well, and every wrestler looks good. When you've got everyone from Funaki to Albert to John drawing crowd chants, then you know you've got a winner.

Sent in by TWNP visitor Eric

I believe Raw is getting worse week after week. Its no wonder why they have to come up with ridiculous ideas just to try to lift up their rating's. Too bad its not working. Raw is just mediocre compared to the other brand Smackdown. Raw just cant compete. Eric Bischoff has turned into the killer of wrestling. If Vince does'nt realize this we may only have Smackdown left to watch. The only way out of this crap now known as Raw is if Vince takes back what is rightfully his and screws Bischoff and HHH in the process. HHH is another character that has become a nusuiance to watch!. Raw is nothing more than the last days of WCW. We all saw it coming, why does'nt Vince?

Sent in by TWNP visitor Ron Lordi

Overall I give this episode of RAW a 2 out of 10. Many things were very bad and uncalled for. There is no reason why the had to go into the sex thing at all with Kane and Katie Vick. Triple H is ridiculous for even doing that and Vince McMahon for giving it the final go. Also where do they think they can go with this angle. Then when Kane put Triple H in the car trunk! What the heck is that about. Very stupid and boring. How many times have they used the kidnapping angle now. If they want to gfet their ratings up they need to give the ball to MR. Monday Night. There is no doubt that the fans and as well as I want to see him main eventing. I kind of like the Al Snow Chris Nowinski angle because i have been watching tough enough and i would like to see where this goes. Big Show got traded. They have to have something in store for the 7'2" 500 pounder on SMACKDOWN! (Go Steph) Its good to see the Dudleys in action together. They need a really bad makeover though. I also think thats enough with the brass knuckles. Seems like every time we see William Regal out come the knucks! (stupid now) I kind of wonder what the elimination chamber will be. Let Stacey Keibler Ref all the time. (oh my god she is amazing) But they really need to change RAW if they want the ratings to go back up where they were. They need to stop making everything predictable and give someone else the belt for a while. I really enjoy watching the hurricane wrestle. Lance Storm is just so boring to watch. They need to get the tag team action up and rolling. We need the Hardy's, Edge and Christian, and the Dudleys in some unique matches. They need some main angles with other people now. Most of all we need some Classic Vince McMahon and Steve Austin angles. I feel that they will eventually get the ratings up jsut like they always do ------- Ron Lordi

My thoughts on last nights raw is that the WWE has gone into a hole and my family and myself will no longer watch their programs. The triple h episode went TOO FAR! They should apoligise to the people who had to see that crap last night.

Sent in by TWNP visitor Byron

Hi,

I have been a wrestling fan for 35 years and last night's RAW was one of the
most useless shows that I have ever seen. Like many others, I am totally
sick of Triple H. The whole Katie Vick thing is one of the dumbest angles
in history (what in the hell is it supposed to accomplish?). The sledge
hammer thing has gotten really old too. I always tape RAW and watch it
later in the evening and for the first time ever I fast forwarded about 1/2
of it at various points. They need to quit with the STUPID intergender
matches too!

The only things I liked were Big Show pounding Rosie, Jamal, and Rico. If
they want to push these clowns, they need to have some real tag team
competitors put them over. I also like just about everything Booker T and
Goldust do, they are skilled, very funny, and put the fun back in to
wrestling which is what it should be in the first place.

Bottom Line: RAW Sucked Last Night!!!

Sent in by TWNP visitor Steve

it was very disgusting and if that is what the wwe is going to do to keep ratings going n storylines entertaining then they are going to have a huge problem

Sent in by TWNP visitor Bill

Last nights raw was the final straw for wwe. What in the hell happened to wrestling? How can you put a segment on with HHH having sex with a dead person? Get back to wrestling and enough with this crap. If everyone is unhappy like me, contact wwe.com and go under contacts. Send them a email of how many fans they are going to lose with crap like this.

Sent in by TWNP visitor Chris Lane

I attended the RAW show last night and thought it was ok. Not one of the best by far but pretty good. My only complaint was the HHH casket bit. It was very tacky and tasteless. The writers have to realize that small children, I had two setting on either side of me, watch the show too. A little sexual innuendo is ok but that sketch when above and beyond that. Hopefully, the writers will get their heads on straight and something as tacky as this will not happen again.

"I screwed your brains out". With those five words a 13 yr. fan of wrestling
will never watch Raw again. To me wrestling is a sport, yes there is
entertainment value to it but does the entertainment not come from the
wrestling aspect? Why is it then that on the wrestling programs that us fans
watch do we have to see a skit like what was shown last night. I'm sure many
people were disgusted at what happened, me I was sickened, but not because of
the content of what happened but because it happened on a wrestling program.
I'm sure many fans thought of emailing the WWF, I was one of them. Perhaps
you decided not to because you thought "What would one person do". If the
WWF gets a lot of emails one at a time it may not have an impact. What I am
suggesting may have a stronger chance at making an impact. I am asking
wrestling fans that are sick of the current state of things to email me. I
will print out copies of every email I get and once I feel there are enough I
will write a business letter to the WWF and send it in a package with all the
emails. They say the internet fan base is just a small one but if we all ban
together perhaps with can make a change. So what I am asking you to do is
email me addressing the email to the WWF. Do not give them storyline ideas
instead tell them why you are upset, please do not use any profanity in your
email. We must also however turn off the TV on Monday nights. If the
ratings to not drop all the emails in the world will not mean anything. If
you feel you must watch Raw get together with your friends that would
normally be at home watching Raw by themselves. If six people watching on
one TV is better then six people watching on six Tvs.

Thank you
Justin Lijoi

I have been an avid wrestling fan since back in the days of Stampede
wrestling. Watching the early days of the Hart family, Bad News Allan,
Abdoulah the Butcher, Davey Boy Smith, Jim Niedhart, Dynmate Kid, and so
on and so forth. However after watching last nights Raw I felt truly
disgusted by the turn of events that has become Sports Entertainment. I
remember being there (watching on TV) the day Macho Man proposed/got
married to Miss Elizabeth; The debut of the Ultimate Warrior beating the
Honky Tonk Man (in record fashion) for the IC Belt; The day that we one
THE greatest technical wrestlers in Owen Hart and last but not least
.... saturday morning cartoons with Hulk Hogan's Rockin Wrestling. These
are just a few of the great memories that I will cherish because after
Monday Nights Stint I don't think I'll be tuning in to watch. I'll be
waiting for Wednesday Nights with NWA:TNA where wrestling is how it used
to be and theatrics are very far behind.

I've gotta say i'm completely fed up with Raw. I dont even bother to watch
smackdown because it's always sucked. Last night was simply horrible. I
actually thought Vince was trying to turn the product around, not drive it
straight to hell. IMO, every storyline should be ended right now. No one
wants to see Kane/HHH part two. I have to say that i was pretty excited to
see HBK. Hopefully he will come back and give us one more match. The
HHH/casket scene was disgusting, and not funny in the least. Vince really
needs to pull a rabbit out of his hat now. I'm almost reminded of the time
around summer 96 when the product was getting weak. A few people began to
step up, and others were just getting off the ground that have changed the
face of WWE the past few years ( stone cold, hhh, the rock ) this is the time
when someone needs to step up and turn this company around. the problem is, i
have no idea who it could be.

I have been watching wrestling for 26 years now, and last night, the WWE lost me as a viewer, buyer of ppvs, and buyer of tickets to their shows. I cannot believe in my wildest dreams that doing a skit on having sex with a dead woman would ever be placed on television. I really hope the fans speak out/boycott this type of horrid programming and changes are made. If not, I am sure I will not be the only one refusing to line the McMahon's pockets with my hard earned money to watch basically shock television.

Sent in by TWNP visitor Issacc

Over all i thought it got better. I actully thought that the video was funny. It reminded me of the video he made when he married steph macman. The wrestling was good. I think It'll get better

I think Vince has finally joined the land of the funny-farm people. You have got to be kidding. I thought last week was crossing the line, with the "sex after she was dead" crack, but this week went far beyond bad taste. I grew up a NWA-Crocket promotions/WCW fan. I watch it at its peak, and at its lowest moment. WCW was great at one time becuase they has story lines that ment something; you knew what they were trying to accomplish and it was interesting. Vince and the WWE forgot how they beat WCW, and that was with wrestling. Now its Monday Night HHH. All I see is a egotistical 10 lb nose with a sinus problem talking for 1/2 the 2 hours. And whats the ending to this anglem, which seems to be the ONLY angle they got going?? What, the next PPV, Kane will show the tape was a fraud and beat up HHH and get disqualified so he still doesnt win the title? Now they have the elimination cage at survivor series... they bringing back the WW3 cage from WCW? And whats up with these titles? They canned the Intercontinental title, but keep the crappy hard core title. They have the "word champion" on raw, but the undisputed WWE champion on smackdown... they have the WWE tag team champions on Raw, and what, the world tag champs on smackdown? Please, someone tell me this is all a dream and Vince Russo isnt actually doing all the writing?? Will david Arquette show up next and win the world title again?

Sent in by TWNP visitor JG

As I was watching the show, I thought to myself "How much lower is this going to go?" The whole vignette with Triple H as Kane was probably the worst thing WWE ever did. It wasn't even funny! How in the hell could Vince let that get on the air? Who wrote that piece of crap? Triple H? No wonder Austin left and The Rock is doing movies!
