On with the rants

Well kids, the Rant bag is BACK! I’m gonna post what’s hanging in there now, but in the future we’ll have a topic. SO… here’s what we’ve got!

You know since the WWF and WCW have become one, I got to say that the product
is really dull.
I loved the whole cross federation bagging that was going on. Nash said this
to Vince, JJ said this to Vince and so on so on and yadda yadda...
They really need something to spark interest soon. Will Nash do it? Nash
coming back is only as good as the storylines. I got really tired of the
whole WCW when he was in there. Hogan, please let sleeping dogs lie. About
the only thing that Hogan would be great at is the whole "Sunset Blvd" angle
with some demented star trying to relive his moments of glory in a world no
one sees. Hall? Hall? really needs time to look at his life and clean it up.
Then, he must realize that he is not the center of the universe and become
what he once was, a professional wrestler.
WWF? Vince getting the brass ring is one thing but keeping it shiny and new,
well that takes work, brasso and consistent is going to take a lot of work.

Response: Great take! A lot of people feel this way, but don’t discount what these guys bring to the table.

every time you click n a story on this website, you look below, and see
thes "headlines" that are very, very appealing. For example, you see
soemthing like, "goldberg seen at WWF New York with Shane McMahon" as
recently seen, well as of today. Not only is it false advertising, it is a
gimmick to get to to another site, whcih, when you get there, makes no sense
at all! The topin annouced on TWNP, at the bottom of the article doesnt
exist. TWNP, you are obviously desperate for business. Either shape up, or
ship out. Because you continue to have these other site advertise stories
that are simply not true, and dont exist within their own website, you are up
for a major lawsuit. have a good day

Response: Well JasnHot21 (cough:::fag:::cough) The plugs that reporters put in their news storys don’t lead to TWNP, nor are they posted BY TWNP. But hey, if you would have bothered to read my editorial you would have known that.

Out of all the matches I have seen over the past year, one match stands out
in my mind as the worst. This match has to be from Monday Night (1/7/02).
Lance Storm versus Edge had the makings to be one of the best matches of the
year, but due to "time constraints," it had to be cut short. It went back and
forth for about 30 seconds, Lance Storm got his Maple Leaf locked in on Edge,
Edge got to the ropes. The other minute and a half was Lance Storm latched
onto Edge's leg until Edge hit his Edge-O-Matic and pinned Storm. Three lousy
minutes for a match between two of the best young stars the WWF has. If there
wasn't enough time to give as good a match as these two could have given,
then the match should have been scrapped until a time where they could fit it
all in. Therefore, Lance Storm vs. Edge from Monday night was the worst and
most disappointing match I've seen all year.

Response: You’re preaching to the choir on this one. I’m a HUGE Lance Storm mark. They guy has great talent, but the WWF just can’t find a good spot for him. In the handicap match on Smackdown… that was just pathetic. Put him in a feud with Edge where he can run some longer matches. THAT would be some fantastic wrestling!

The worst match of 2001 was easily Undertaker and Kane vs. Kronic. I’ve seen
snails hump with more energy. It just don't get much worse than that. Who
writes this crap anyway!? Lol

Response: Now, would the fault of this one lie with the Undertubby dragging down Kane’s ability level, or Kronik’s inability to sell moves?

hey i wanna say wrestling sucks and it will never be as good as it gets

Response: Are you talking about the Jack Nicholson film where Greg Kinear plays a gay man? If there were more gay men in wrestling today would you be happy? Don’t take your sexual frustrations out on us man… just watch that copy of Cops & Cocks for the 8 millionth time.

Hogan thinking the crowd would buy him winning the title from Jeff Jarrett.

Response: ROFL!

Well Kids, next weeks topic: Worst finisher of all time.
