For this edition of the TWNP rantbag, TWNP asked its visitors what they thought about the WWF/WCW/ECW InVasion. On with the rants
Here is the latest rantbag, this week TWNP asked its visitors about what they thought about RAW on 9/11/01 From HHH316Sonny I thought this Raw was the best in the past few months. To start the show we say the big interview and in the interview we saw Austin attack Tazz and maybe us fans will finally see the hugh push that Tazz deserves. With that maybe Tazz will get a title shot either on Smackdown this week or on Raw or Smackdown next week before the PPV vs Austin and maybe Tazz will be our new WWF champion. If that happens we could see Tazz putting up his WWF world title up on the line vs Austin and Angle in a three way dance. Next we saw Christian come out to the worst music I have ever heard in my life and he defeated Billy Gunn. In a great 6 person tag match we saw thr Hardys and Lita defeat Hurricane Helms, Ivory and Lance Storm and I thaught this was an awesome match and they should of had this match at Unforgiven, then on Raw. After that we saw the Rock's interview with Michael "he saw the Rock's strudel" Cole. Rock said that the person that will be Test's partner has to have three things has to be fast, easy and no testicles and Rock picks as Test's partner Stephanie McMahon. Finally, all the rest of the matches where awesome and to end the show was even better. The End ( had to end it, its late ) From CavidDavid Worst match: The Rock, why does Vince, J.R., Steph, or Shane not tell the From Chris K. i thought raw was pretty decent. the wrestling was, by far, improved over recent weeks. team xtreme vs. storm, helms, and ivory was fun to watch. helms, incidentally, kills me. funny stuff there. the rvd vs. angle match was, as expected, pretty much awesome. rvd is on a roll in the wwf, and i'm lovin every second of it. stone cold continues to crack me up, and his leadership of the alliance is bewildering, yet amusing. and i do believe the rock gave one of his best interviews in a long while (and his kip-up is pretty cool too). anyway, raw was pretty decent. at least compared to the last couple of weeks. From Travis C. I thought RAW tonight was awesome!!! Rob Van Dam truly is the Whole F'n From Rand Carlson raw really sucks any more, as time passes and each show i watch the From BeDsTuYsFiNeSt17 raw was ggod except for when undertaker lost to booker t and aint no way in the world that undertaker could lose to a wcw star and as far as kronik doing that immitation chokeslam they need to give it a rest cause when kane comes back both taker n kane will wipp there butts From Israel Rodriguez #1 - WE WANT GOLDBERG!!! GOLDBERG GOLDBERG GOLDBERG GOLDBERG GOLDBERG GOLDBERG GOLDBERG GOLDBERG...Wrestling is just too boring without him. #2 - Can Kurt Angle do anything else besides that damn ankle lock hold? #3 - We want more Torrie Wilson...thank god Tajiri won the US Championship #4 - Can the Undertaker finally ditch the lame biker punk persona and give us the man from the Darkside back??? #5 - and finally...Stephanies boobs need more airtime!!! They are a sight to see! From Robert Castaneda RVD IS THE MAN! IT'S GOOD TO SEE THAT EVEN WHEN THE WWF WANTS YOU TO CHEER FOR THEY'RE BABYFACE JERKS! THE FANS WILL NOT BUY INTO IT WHEN IT COMES TO HAVING A WWF FACE VS RVD. RVD GOT MORE CHEERS THAN ANGLE EVEN THOUGH ANGLE IS BABYFACE, BUT YOU CAN'T DENY TALENT AND RVD IS TALENT! RVD SHOULD BE THE NEXT WWF CHAMPION BECAUSE HE HAS THE TALENT AND THE FANS DEMAND IT! FORGET THE ROCK, STONE OLD, AND TRIPLE H THEY'RE ALL BORING STIFFS COMPARE TO RVD! THE ONLY REASON I WATCH WWF NOW IS BECAUSE OF THE ALLIANCE AND THE TALENT THEY HAVE! NOT THE JOKE WWF ROSTER! RVD- THE UNCROWNED WORLD CHAMPION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! From Brian Dabney I enjoyed RAW!! almost every match was entertaining and filled with action! I love how over as a heel Austin is.. in TEXAS also!! BKD From Adam Martin I thought Raw was pretty fair this Monday. I must admit I missed a few of the matches halfway through since I was flipping back and forth to the Bronco's/Giant's game. Man did anyone see McCaffrey's leg go out! They are saying he broke two bones, ouch! Anyways back to my Raw Thoughts. The opening segment with Austin was pretty good with him shrugging off the comments from other Alliance members only to not take Tazz's comments and kick his ass. What the hell is up with Christian's new theme music? I felt like I was in church for a minute there, his pyro is cool nonetheless. When are we going to see a confrontation between him and Edge before Unforgiven? That Hardy Boyz & Lita vs. Helms, Storm, & Ivory match was very good and the crowd was really into it. Very good showing between Undertaker and Booker T. Thats right folks, The Undertaker jobbed for once! I did notice him falling on his arm and favoring it throughout the end of the match and the attack by Kronic, you could even see Earl Hebner talking to Undertaker about it and Undertaker was clearly in pain as Raw went to commercial. I was quite shocked with Tajiri winning the US Title. I am not mad about the title change at all but who knows how long they are going to let him have it. They barely let him hold the WWF Light Heavyweight Title. Very solid match between Kurt Angle and Rob Van Dam. I also liked the Main Event between The Rock and Test. Test is showing signs yet again of being a true superstar in the future. Hopefully they don't screw him over yet again. That Austin promo at the end wasn't needed, I didn't like it at all. Hopefully they push an Edge/Christian confrontation on SmackDown and hype up some more of the matches for Unforgiven and maybe even announcing a few more. Overall I would give Raw an 7.5 out of 10 for this week. - Adam Martin From Josh Well, I noticed Bubba Ray and Chris Jericho weren't exactly communicating very well in the ring with eachother, a couple botched spots. Stephanie almost popped out there... Bradshaw saved himself coming into the ring trying for a clothesline, getting his foot caught in the rope, and putting all of his body weight into a shoulderbreaker. Very nice save. Three injury angles in one night (taker/angle/rockabilly)..Give me a break! Test vs Rock main event?? I'd have rather seen the Angle vs RVD hardcore title first. (stephanie didn't really make it any better) Kronik is looking pretty damn good so far. Very good intensity...too bad they never really showed serious intensity in the old WCW. Is it me, or does torrie wilson need to be my girlfriend? (lol)
From Matt Give RVD the title at Unforgiven. I want to see another 23+ month reign...this time with the WWF title! Matt Phillips From Scotty Beach That was an excellent edition of raw, i LOVE the hurricane helms gimmick, thats definetly gonna stick for a long time to come, and all the matches kept me entertained throughout the night, this is the first time in a while i was on the edge of my seat waiting for the next match. i dont think i can pick out a bad match on the night, but the Undertaker segment was really bland, mostly cause its the Undertaker, and he needs to retire, but other than that I LOVED RAW!! -Scotty Beach SSE From Smitty antbag, so far tonight, i've enjoyed raw!!
