Quick and Dirty thoughts on Raw:
Jericho as Heel - Great Idea, laid a nice fist on the people's chin, could
be promising?
Austin as Champ - All I can say is that this better not lead to ANOTHER
match on the next PPV. 3 times in a Row? Having not missed a PPV in over 5
years, I purposely did not order the last one due to the two repeat matches
(Angle - Austin and Rock - Booker) Can they not think of anyone else to
fight Austin? I don't care if there is a stipulation or not. Just Pleeease
not another match for the 4th time.
Regal as Heel Commissioner - Nice swerve, didn't see it coming. To bad it
led to Austin getting the belt again.
Also liked the "clean" win that Mighty Molly had over Lita.

I thought overall RAW was weak, considering it was supposed to be the
greatest RAW of all time. HA! The regal turn was obvious, although I am
curious about Jericho's possible heel turn. I especially liked the DDP
segment. I am a big fan of this gimmick, and I for one did my yoga today
:-) Please bring back the Godfather, things would be so much more festive
if this were to occur. Oh well, I'll just have to keep on dreaming...

Everything is getting way to repetitious and predictable Ever since
Invasion. I almost fell asleep again watching Raw, which is almost
becoming a regular thing. I just get bored watching it nowadays. Don't
get me wrong some of the matches are very good but there is just no
excitement or surprises anymore. Kind of reminds me of the last year of
WCW before they closed up shop. By that I mean the storylines, not the
wrestlers' ability or performance. I cannot wait until HHH comes back
and it was great to see Benoit on Heat the other night as well. Need to
pick up the storylines boys!

maybe jericho's heel status will finally elevate him to a main eventer. he
deserves it and its about time. i think Ausitn's present character is a
pussy and he continues to lose more and more respect. his recent role as
champ sucks. Regal is what i call a natural heel. He doesn't go over well
as a babyface and he seems more comfortable being heel. He fights dirty
anyways. thanx

Finally! Regal has gone heel again. If anyone remembers him from the WCW
days as Lord Steven Regal, he was one of the companies most talented heels.
I was cheering when he leveled Angle with the title. Jericho going heel is
by far a good move. Aside from Christian, the WWF doesn't have too many
talented heels right now. The Hardys put on a good show, but I was kinda
liking Booker T and Test as the champs. Hopefully a feud will occur between
the teams. Overall, this was an excellent RAW, a 9 out of 10. Now if they
bring back DDP, and sign the Outsiders they should be all set!

First I have to say for all the hype of this being the BIGGEST RAW of all time I didn't feel we got our bang for our buck. What we got was a title change everyone saw coming, a Regal turn which shouldn't be surprising since he wasn't a true face, and we didn't even get the full fledged Jericho turn. I did think the Angle/Austin match was excellent and all RAW main events should follow that match as a blueprint. I was very impressed with the Bump Torrie took through the table, it helped give the Torrie/Stacy fued more backstory, but one has to wonder how a Lingerie Match is going to settle the fued, I think it will last another month. I also think if They don't do a Torrie injury angle the rest of the week that she will get some sort of revenge on Stacy, quite possibly Torrie humiliating her by spraying her in the face with Tajiri like Mist!!! Either way dragging this fued on another month will be welcomed by ALL FANS!!!

First off, let me say keep up the great work buddy. I'm a long time visitor
of the site, and y'all always give me the news that I want to see. But let's
both be honest with ourself, wrestling has been so stale lately, there
hasn't been much of a need for anybody to visit the site that regularly. Now
on to my Raw thoughts. Austin winning the title came as somewhat of a
surprise, especially with Regal's interference. In all honesty, I didn't
even really expect Austin to be there, I figured it was gonna be another
Alliance screw job. What the WWF really needs to do is explain the depth of
this story, so as not to screw it up. Tell us why Regal interfered and where
Austin has been for the past week. Austin winning the title back a week
after losing it does add a little excitement, but the need to explore the
many layers of this angle. Am I the only one that noticed Austin using the
middle finger again? Is that a hint of things yet to come? I also don't
really care to see Austin-Angle III, add a new face to the mix, an RVD or a
Jericho. Speaking of these two, it seems their little feud has dwindled in
favor of a Jericho-Rock feud. Now this is promising. Both are extremely well
on the mic, and both have the necessary wrestling ability to put this angle
over, no matter how much I pan the Rock. This is a feud I've been waiting to
see, it got teased upon Jericho's debut. If this is going to culminate with
Jericho's heel turn, they need to explore this to some depth too. Have him
get upset with the crowd about always cheering the Rock, and him always
being the #2 babyface. I know that's a cheap way to do it, but for the most
part it's true. They should also have Jericho say something about the Rock
always getting the title shots, and that he got a shot at the WCW title
right when he returned in August. I have got to be the biggest Jericho mark
in the world, and I love him as a heel, but did anybody else notice that
when he got up in Rock's face talking trash to him that the crowd went
ballistic? Could the Rock be the one that ends up heel? We'll just have to
wait and see. Hurricane and Molly are well on their way to having the most
entertaining segments on WWF TV. They crack me up every time I see them. I
would love to see them create alter-egos for themselves, so as to create
confusion as to who their opponent will be wrestling at a certain time. The
Hardyz win the WCW Tag Team Titles? Hell, I forgot who the WCW tag champs
were to begin with. The rest of the show was basically your usual Raw. I
know I got a little long winded, Kev, but I figured I'd express some
opinions with this first good Raw in quite awhile. It was the first time in
about a year that I didn't walk away from it disenchanted. Keep up the great
work buddy!

Tonight's Raw finally lived up to the hype.
I was starting to become frustrated with the WWF product, but it seems like
every time that starts to happen, the WWF always pulls be back in with an
exciting turn of events. I'm very happy for Chris Jericho. I think that he
has been a victim of the expanded roster ever since this whole alliance angle
started. It seemed the only way for him to get any opportunity would be a
heel turn so he could be put in a program with the Rock. I think they'll
draw it out a bit and you won't see a full heel turn until the PPV match.
They kind of left it open, almost with the Rock appearing to be the one who
was initiating the confrontation and heading for a heel turn, but we all
know that it's gonna be Jericho because the Rock can't turn now. Jericho
has always been a better heel then face so I'm very excited about this opportunity
and it just may lead to him holding one of the two major titles.
Regal has been quite entertaining as of late, but we all know he was
supposed to be a heel commissioner, and with the alliance angle fizzling
out, it seems that the WWF is starting to get their affairs back in order.
Regal needs to be a heel so that a face (Maybe Foley?) can come back and
challenge him for the job. Now that Tajiri is over on his own with Torrie,
Regal can go back to being a jerk of a commissioner until Vince brings someone
back to replace him.
And as for the Main Event.....It was great. I love Angle, but Austin
needs the belt right now. He is trying to maintain his spot as leader of
the Alliance, and the WWF Championship belt is the only glue that can hold
it together. Angle will have his day, but lets hope both wrestlers move on
to new feuds, because I don't need to see another Angle-Austin match at the
next PPV. They need to start elevating some of the other guys into big PPV
matches and I think this will give them an opportunity. It would be nice
to maybe see an Edge-Austin feud or Angle-Kanyon. Lets give some of these
guys a chance to show us what they've got so we know what we can look forward
to in the future.

I've got to admit that Raw was a lot better then it has been the past
few weeks, but that ending really sucked. It was pretty obvious that Regal
would turn. They were hyping this up as such a big thing, but I mean come on,
William Regal?? Big friggin deal. The only thing big about that is that he is
the commish, but I mean, do the fans really, truly care about Regal. I mean,
don't get me wrong, he is a great wrestler and all, but the way that they
hyped it up, something bigger then that should have happened. that's just
what I think.

Edge and Rhyno seemed to be having a tough time in the ring tonight. Maybe just an off night.
Jericho and Rock was rather predictable for me, but it's good to see
Jericho finally being the heel he's meant to be. Hopefully he won't have
the clowning around Heel persona this time around.
Austin being the new WWF champ... Well woopty freakin doo!
Regal turning heel - Obvious from the getgo, why wouldn't he have left ringside? huh? huh?
RVD going over the rock... Can we say...Triple Threat at No Mercy for
the WWF gold? I'd put money on it. But not against any of you! :)
Molly is FINALLY getting what she deserves, Pinfalls! PS: If molly
is ever to read this... 21 year old male from Chi-Town ready to serve you!
Big Show has really taken to me lately. He's such a good face, and
such a terrible Heel.. Keep him face.. But make him go over people anyway,
I mean he is funny.. I mean c'mon, Showster!
X-pac rules, I don't care what any of you say.
And last but not least.. Essa Rios! Don't worry Essa, one day they'll
give you competition...If they hire ya some, he's absolutely great in that
ring. He needs his time, before it's too late and they release him.

The angles started are going to be good probably, But the event itself was lackluster and Everyone thought something BIG was gonna happen. Even a non avid watcher could ahve seen everything happen before it really happenned!!
