The show starts with Watts, Goldy and AJ coming in from the parking lot. Then, Jarrett is calling his lawyer Tom Stendenbaum to try and find out who the masked man is. On Jarrett's agenda is to announce the release date of the big news, which means it won't be announced tonight. He asks about it and I guess he can release the big news tonight.

The new intro starts with the Macho Man song "Are You Ready" hits and he incorporates TNA into the song. Kinda cool. I think we may be seeing Savage in TNA soon.

Tenay goes over the matches tonight, and I gotta say this looks like a good show to me.

The show goes to the back and finds Jarrett getting ass whopped by the masked man. The whipping goes to the ring. Legend and Northcutt hit the ring and attack the masked man and try to remove his mask, but the masked man escapes before they can.

Match One: Rawhide Strap Match - Red Shirts vs America's Most Wanted

Pretty decent match that had the crowd way into the show right off the bat. AMW pick up the win with a super kick on Legend. Legend and Northcutt tried to hang AMW, but the cowboys fought them off.

Recap of the Ultimate X II match.

Hudson in back with the new franchise interviewing Michael Shane, who has a bum shoulder, but he will compete tonight. Douglas tells Shane that TNA doesn't like talent and they are holding him down. He then goes off on Skipper and there match for tonight dubbing it Old School vs New School.

Match Two: Low Ki vs Michael Shane vs Christopher Daniels

I am excited about this match. Should be one hell of a battle. Low Ki and Daniels go at each other from the onset, basically trying to keep Shane out of it. They push him away anytime he tries to get involved. Sabin is watching the match from the crowd. Low Ki and Daniels help each other out for a bit, but then Ki turns on Daniels and "accidentally" misses a kick to Shane. Michael Shane got the win after Douglas came down to distract Daniels and Ki. Shane hits the superkick and gets the pin on Low Ki.

Hudson in back with Antonio Pena of AAA and the Spanish Announce guy. Pena speaks in Spanish to us and Quintero decifers that February 11 with be the Americas Cup. Top 4 AAA wrestlers vs the Top 4 wrestlers from TNA! That sounds great!

Match Three: Internal Problems Match - Simond Diamond vs David Young

What the hell kinda name is that? Internal Problems Match? Anyway, Gilberti is the special referee and my guess is he turns on Young in this one. Glen Gilberti helps David Young out by Chart Bustering Simon Diamond and putting a beaten David Young on top for the three. Johnny Swinger comes out to clean house after the match.

Hudson outside the locker room of Jarrett. Jarrett says he ain't got time for Hudson, but Jarrett wants to know who is under the mask and Kash needs to get more signatures, especially Chris Vaughn's signed in blood.

Match Four: Shane Douglas vs Elix Skipper

In a very short match, Shane Douglas won via submission, then as Douglas beat on Skipper after the match Low Ki came out to help. Then Shane comes out, and that causes Daniels to come out and help. All three are in the ring together and Triple X is not reformed because Low Ki refuses to shake Daniels' hand.

Hudson in back with AJ Styles, carrying his Mr. TNA trophy. AJ says that tonight, losing is not an option.

Recap of Kash's attempt to get signatures.

Match Five: Kid Kash vs Chris Vaughn

A rematch from last week. He forces Tiny to sign the forms by beating on him. Kash tells Tenay, Borash and West that if they don't sign he is going to shove the papers up there ass. Vaughn makes the save and attacks Kash. Vaughn gets busted open during the match as Kash just pummels him. Kash hits a hell of a body slam from the top rope to the TNA chants of the audience and then hits his finishing move for the win. He then takes and signs the form in Vaughn's blood. Then Tiny, the timekeeper, hits the ring and goes after Kash. To the cheers of the crowd, Tiny rips off his shirt and spears Kash! The Red shirts come out, then AMW and Harris come out.

Father Mitchell segment highlighting the gathering's joining him.

Hudson in back with Raven who has just come to the asylum, but it ends up being Mitchell instead. Mitchell says that Raven is in hell like Mitchell was supposed to be. He says Raven won't be here tonight, so Sandman can back out if he wants. Punk tells Sandman that his only mistake was not doing what they did and rid themselves of Raven.

Match Six: Double Singapore Cane Match - The Gathering vs Sandman & Raven

Sandman makes his long entrance and then they announce Raven, but he isn't there. Raven never shows in the match and Punk and Dinero win the match with a doube superkick and double pin. After the match, Dinero and Punk cane the hell out of Sandman.

Hudson in back with Watts and Goldy. Goldy and Watts get in a spiel and Goldy thinks Watts is breaking up with her.

Sandman starts yelling into the mic asking where Raven is. He says that he can't count on Raven, but next week he is bringing Balls Mahoney with him next week to take on the Gathering.

West and Tenay go over the card for next week. Skipper/Daniels vs Shane Douglas, Gilberti/Young vs Diamond/Swinger, AMW vs Red Shirts for #1 contendership. Then, the lights go out and Callis comes on to drop the big suprise and it is Johnny Fairplay coming to TNA. WHO THE FUCK IS HE? The crowd doesn't pop one bit over the news. What a total waste of "big news" that was. I guess people are supposed to care about that, but I could give two shits.

Hudson in back with Jarrett and Abyss.

Match Seven: AJ Styles/Eric Watts vs Jeff Jarrett/Abyss

I must say that this "Big Suprise" has almost ruined the whole show for me. What a worthless suprise by TNA. That should be considered a minor appearance, not a huge "change the wrestling world" suprise like Jarrett claimed it was. I hope they aren't paying him more than $10 for that appearance. Shit, if I was TNA I would cancel the idea based on the Nashville crowds dumbfounded response. Anyway, Main Event time. Jarrett uses the belt to get the pinfall win, and Tenay goes bezerk! He tells Charles that Jarrett used the belt and Bill Behrens comes out! Rudy calls the match to restart and Jarrett goes ape on Tenay until the masked man comes out. Watts and AJ double team Abyss in the ring as the Masked Man takes out Jarrett on the outside. Goldy comes out and yells at Watts that she will not be ignored and low blows Abyss allowing AJ to get the pinfall and the win!!! AJ gets the shot! Callis throws a fit over the outcome. He tells Tenay that if this decision is allowed to stand and Watts isn't forced to resign Callis will quit TNA forever! Watts says that if the decision is overturned and AJ doesn't get the shot, then he quits! It is up to TNA to make the decision. Jarrett says that Watts can kiss his job good bye. He also says that this nobody Johnny Fairplay will be here next week. Still no revelation on the masked man. Show is over.

Overall a great show, but the announcement of the big suprise really blew the steam out of the show and the main event for me. Talk about a disappointment.
