The show begins with a recap of Paul Heyman slapping the D-von Dudley two weeks ago. Last week, Paul Heyman gave the Undertaker an ultimatum concerning his stance and Paul Bearer. Will Undertaker join Paul Heyman tonight? Find out!

General Manager Kurt Angle was already waiting in the ring to give his announcement. Standing beside him his body guard Luther Reigns. Angle says that the last time he was in that ring New York bood him as the champion. Angle says he’s better than them to which the audience chanted “You Suck!” A brief recap of John Cena and Booker T’s scuffle was shown bringing Angle to announce why he’s out there. Kurt demanded that both men come out to apologize for their actions last week. Booker was the first to come out and says he would not intentionally hurt Angle. Because he’s an upstanding guy, he will apologize five times. Booker says I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry while the fans chant for John Cena. Kurt demands that the audience shut up and realize that Booker is apologizing. Booker continues and finishes his five times. The two shake hands and Kurt excuses Booker. John Cena comes down to the ring to a huge pop! Angle demands Cena shut up and get straight to apologizing., no rapping. Cena calls Angle lumpy and said if he intentionally did it, Kurt wouldn’t be out here tonight. Cena said he should have finished the job! With that, Luther steps up to Cena. Angle tells Luther to stay right there incase Cena tries something. Angle says Cena is now on probation and if he does anything to hurt him, he will be stripped of the US title. Angle wants Cena to apologize for what he did last week as well as for who he is. Cena refuses and fakes out his apology saying he will not apologize for who he is and will continue to do it. He tells Angle, “I may not be able to touch you, but you can’t see me!!” As Cena leaves, Kurt announces his plot to end Cena’s reign via the Triple Play Challenge pitting Cena against three of Smackdown’s! best in three five minute matches. The entrants are Booker T, Rob Van Dam, and René Duprée


Kenzo Suzuki w/ Hiroko Niizuma vs Scotty 2 Hottie
Kenzo is led to the ring in full traditional Japanese garb and being carried out in royal fashion. Accompanying him is his wife Hiroko Niizuma dressed in a geisha uniform. Scotty comes out to a small pop and the audience loves him. Kenzo made several facial expressions of confidence and showed he wasn’t intimidated by Scotty. Kenzo stares Scotty down before locking up. Kenzo used vicious chops against Scotty’s head, shoulders, and neck followed up with a knee to the gut and more chops. Kenzo whips Scotty to the corner and sends a boot to the face. The momentum of Kenzo kept up as he annihilated Scotty with a barrage of body shots and kicks. Going for a suplex, Scotty counters out and comes at Kenzo with some offense and a super kick which barely jogged Kenzo. Scotty tries for more offense but Kenzo grabs him by the throat, then engulfs his face in his other hand and hits a devastating STO for the win on his debut!

JBL was in New York City getting pampered by the men and women he considers cheap labor. This segment was hilarious though it maybe offensive to the more conservative and prudish. JBL tells one of the workers that he would like to see more of “his” people work as hard as he does. After the segment aired, JBL’s limo pulled up in the back area. As he steps out, he tells the driver that this is a toxic waste dump and he’s leaving cause he doesn’t have to wrestle tonight. He says the beauty of being a rich man is that you can work or relax when you want to and today he’s going to relax. He tells the driver to go home to New York City and hurry. After insulting the driver and calling him an idiot, the window comes down and its Eddie Guerrero!! JBL looks shocked and almost speechless. Eddie says they’re going for a ride but not to New York City, it’s going to be better than Disney Land! With that, Eddie puts the barricade back up and pulls out as JBL yells at him. He crashes into all sorts of things on his way out of the parking area.

Rey Mysterio vs Chavo Guerrero Jr.

Prior to the match, Chavo Classic comes out dressed in a suit, he’s not competing tonight because he’s tired of all the title matches since no one can keep up with old school. He’s also accompanied by more women tonight. Classic joins the broadcast crew and does commentary for his son’s match. Cole goes on to mention that his winning the title was a fluke. The two men begin the match quickly with Rey hitting an arm drag take down. Chavo then backs Rey to the corner and knees to the gut. Rey springboards and whips Chavo to the outside through the middle and top rope. Rey goes up to nosebleed city and dives to the outside.

Back in the ring, Rey leads offense with a leg drop on the former Cruiserweight Champion then backs him to the corner. Rey springboards off the ropes but gets drop kicked by Chavo. Chavo pins Rey for two then backdrops him for another two count. Chavo extends the arms and drives his knee into his back. Rey gets out but doesn’t get far as Chavo puts him on the top ropes. Chavo continued to pound on Rey who attempted defense. Rey finally gets the upper hand and moonsaults into Chavo! Chavo still proving the stronger drapes Rey over the top ropes then boots his head as he hung there. Getting him back in the ring, Chavo applied a modified abdominal stretch on Rey who counters out with a hip toss and basement kick. The two began to trade holds at a rapid pace! Rey hits an asai moonsault, Chavo tries for a Gory buster but can’t get it. Rey executes a tiltawhirl head scissors on Chavo who lands in the second rope, its time to dial it up! Rey hits the 619 but Classic jumps out of the announce table and holds Rey’s legs down. Rey kicks him away but misses the west coast pop on Chavo. Chavo lunges to Rey but bumps off Classic instead! Rey hits a harricanrana pin for the victory. After the match, the Chavo’s argue about what happened.

Match #1: John Cena vs Booker T · Non Title Match

Booker was quick to start without letup begining with chops and a body slam. Booker boots Cena to the corner and gets a pin for two. Booker knees Cena’s gut and whips him to the corner. Cena manages to get a two count somehow, then suplexes Booker. Booker hits a super kick and gets a pin for two, Cena gets a small package for two. Booker hits his knee drop and hook kick and gets another two count. Booker uses a modified sleeper hold at the 2:30 mark. Cena powers out after a spot check by the referee at 1:30. Cena whips Booker but Booker hits him with a flapjack off the ropes. Booker hits a heel kick for another two count, great back and forth action! It’s not under a minute! Booker misses a scissors kick and Cena knocks him down. Booker pints him again at 20 seconds left. Booker tries for another scissors kick but misses and time is up! Kurt tells Booker to leave the ring cause he couldn’t get it done and calls out Rob Van Dam!

Match #2: John Cena vs Rob Van Dam · Non Title Match

Cena hits RVD with a shoulder coming back from break and pins for two. RVD does a harricanrana pin for two. RVD backs Cena to the corner and tries his roll in move but Cena ducks and knocks RVD down. Cena hit another shoulder block on RVD and whips him to the corner. RVD rolled Cena up for a two count. Cena suplexes RVD for a count of two. Cena tries to hit the F-U but RVD counters out and hits a wheel kick and another pin attempt. RVD hits numerous forearm shots and boots him to the face from the corner! RVD went for the five star but Cena got up. RVD knocked him out again and hit a split legged moonsault for a two count! RVD went up top again for the frog splash but Booker intervened and knocked Van Dam off balance at the 1:30 marker. Angle gets on the mic and demands Booker leave ringside cause he’s ruining everything! A small face pop for Angle when he forced Booker to leave. Cena tried to superplex Van Dam but gets knocked down. RVD hits a top rope thrust kick then hits the five star frog splash at 4 seconds but is too late to pin, time’s up!

Match #3: John Cena vs René Duprée · Non Title Match

Kurt Angle says that Cena maybe tired but he can’t get out of this one. Duprée makes his way down quickly and wastes no time beating down a weakened champion. Duprée does a Flair strut and drops a knee! Duprée whips Cena to the corner and pummels him more. René applies an abdominal stretch at 4:00. Cena counters with a hip toss. Duprée comes back with a spine buster. Angle looks worried since the clock is winding down and no one has pinned Cena. Cena does a sunset flip for two. Duprée hits a back breaker, Cena comes back with a flurry of punches. The two collide at the 2:10 mark. Cena hits a couple big clotheslines on Duprée followed up with the five knuckle shuffle for two! Cena pumps up the shoes and signals for the F-U. Duprée gets loose and counters with a spine buster! He pins Cena for two three times with but no cigar! Duprée pins Cena a fourth time, and a fifth at 13 seconds remaining! Duprée sets Cena up for the power bomb but is too late, time over! After the match, Duprée gets on the mic and complains, Angle gives him five more minutes to do the job. Cena had some recovery time and the two battle back and forth for a bit. Duprée does his French tickler dance and attempts the Michinoku driver but Cena counters into an F-U for the pinfall! Angle takes the mic and says it doesn’t count since the extra time was not official! Booker T comes out and beats down John Cena. RVD came back to the ring and helped Cena by disposing of his old partner Booker. Angle tells Cena he’s not getting off that easy and he’ll have to face Booker T, René Duprée, and Rob Van Dam in a fatal fourway at G.A.B.! RVD helps Cena up and signals he wants the title. The two have some words and ends with RVD knocking out Cena with a kick to the back of the head. As RVD leaves the ring, Angle smiles in approval.
