The National Wrestling Alliance is a professional wrestling governing body which has historically been the largest alliance of independent wrestling promotions in the world. The organization sanctions various NWA championship bouts within its member promotions. The NWA has been in operation since 1948. Prior to the 1960s, it acted as the sole governing body for most of professional wrestling, operating as a talent and brand name franchiser for the inter-regional "territory" system. Austin Idol - now a real estate agent Tommy Rich - He left ECW sometime in 2000 and has been wrestling in the independents ever since. On July 5 2008 'Wildfire" Tommy Rich was back in Enigma, Georgia taking on Southern States Championship Wrestling Champion "Mr. Saturday Night Jarrod Michaels" after months of waitng Rich showed up for the two day event on the July 4 show promising fireworks for Michaels. However after a hard fought match Rich accidentally hit the ref and was disqualified as Michaels and his manager Buck Buchanon attacked Rich somes other wrestlers came in for the save. Bill Dundee - As of the summer of 2007 Bill Dundee has been providing added entertainment to a local dodgeball tournament brought to fruition by a local radio personality George Bfor the benefit of charities around the Jackson, TN area.
