One of the biggest news to emerge from professional wrestling recently has been Kenny Omega’s departure from New Japan Pro Wrestling. His future continues to remain up in the air.

Omega could well follow his pals to the AEW in order to give them a boost.  However, there is no doubt that the WWE will also be interested in the 35-year-old.

With viewer-ratings going down regularly, the addition of Omega would certainly give them a boost in viewership, particularly in Japan.

This past week, Hulk Hogan made his return to the WWE after nearly four years.

During the event, he commemorated the loss of the legendary ”Mean” Gene Okerlund who past away last week at the age of 76.

Hogan’s past controversies saw him being removed from the Hall of Fame but he will now be aiming to make amends.

Many feel that the WWE is the biggest professional wrestling brand in the world. Hogan however does not believe that Omega needs to join the brand in order to complete his legacy.

Hogan told Sports Illustrated as per WrestlingInc: “It’s tough to go your whole life without eating at McDonald’s or riding in a Chevrolet,”

“If you don’t touch on the WWE, the story’s not complete. But maybe Kenny could be the exception.”
