Shawn Michaels has indicated that his days wrestling are over as reported by Sky Sports.

Michaels ended his almost nine-year retirement from in-ring competition late last year when he fought at the company’s Crown Jewel show in Saudi Arabia.  His last match prior to taking part in Crown Jewel came in 2010 when he lost to the Undertaker at WrestleMania 26 in a career vs streak match.

Michaels retires as arguably one of the WWE’s greatest wrestlers of all-time. Some of his greatest matches came against the likes of the Undertaker, Bret Hart and Ric Flair.

His spell with Triple H in Degeneration X was also a highlight of his career.

Reflecting on his recent matches whilst appearing on Sky Sports Lock Up Podcast, Michaels said: “They forced me,”

“No, it was a really special thing and I really felt that one for a while. I’m good with what I’ve done.”

“The guys here in the UK, it’s their time to enjoy it and make the most of it.”
