Edge continues to fuel speculation of his in-ring return.

Last week it was reported that Edge had been medically cleared prior to the SmackDown on FOX debut show Friday.

PWInsider has since reported that Edge was in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania this week on what he referred to as “WWE business”. It was also noted that Pittsburgh is the headquarters of Dr. Joseph Maroon, the head of WWE’s Medical.

Edge left the Edge & Christian Pod of Awesomeness at the end of September, citing scheduling and time constraints. Edge also appeared at WWE SummerSlam last August, attacking Elias with a spear.

Edge retired from in-ring competition in 2011 following a neck injury and cervical vertebral fusion.
