After several weeks of speculation, “Filthy” is staying with MLW.

MLW announced today (November 22) that former World Heavyweight Champion Tom Lawlor has signed an “exclusive, multi-year” deal with the promotion.

Several weeks ago MLW founder Court Bauer posted on social media stating Lawlor would be leaving the promotion

“I want to thank “Filthy” Tom Lawlor for his two years with MLW. Tom was a day zero guy that helped relaunch the league in October 2017.

I wish him continued success with the next chapter of his career. First class dude who despite being filthy is somehow all class at the same time.”

Lawlor has been announced as part of MLW’s upcoming Opera Cup in New York City on December 5 at the Melrose Ballroom.
