Charlotte faced Asuka on Raw Monday and seemingly had the match won after locking in the Figure Eight.
However, new Raw Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley interfered without the referee spotting, causing Charlotte to get distracted and lose the match.
Charlotte was incensed with the referee following the match, beating him down several times after being pulled away by more officials.
Charlotte returned to WWE television on last week’s show following testing positive for COVID-19 last month.
Ripley defeated Asuka at WrestleMania 37 night two to win the Raw Women’s Championship.
