WWE has made some key changes in their talent relations department over the past several days.
The changes began in acrimonious fashion after former Senior Director of Talent Relations Mark Carano was fired following the revelations by recently released Mickie James and others of them receiving their personal belongings from WWE in trash bags.
The writing appeared to be on the wall for Carano, with John Laurinaitis being brought back as WWE’s Head of Talent Relations in March.
Other changes saw Director of Talent Relations Nicole Zeoli, Senior Manager John Cone, Senior Manager Dan Engler, Manager of Publicity and Corporate Communications Joe Villa, Chief Marketing & Communications Officer Brian Flinn and Vice President of Communications Mead Rust have all been relieved of their duties. John Cone has since been re-instated.
Other changes this week have saw more of WWE President and Chief Revenue Officer Nick Khan’s former Nick Khan CAA co-workers join the company, with Scott Zanghellini coming in as the new head of revenue strategy and development and Alex Varga (vice president of revenue strategy and development.
