Stone Cold Steve Austin rejects Logan Paul offer to wear Prime costume

Steve Austin Rejects Logan Paul $1 Million Offer at WrestleMania

Love him or hate him, there is no denying that Logan Paul knows how to make a viral moment. While the star awed the audience with his ability to catch a drone, Logan Paul had a different moment in mind for WrestleMania 41. The brash YouTube star offered Stone Cold Steve Austin $1 million for a collaboration at the Showcase of the Immortals. However, the WWE Hall of Fame said, “Nah ah,” as only Stone Cold would. Steve Austin rejects Logan Paul because of this…His pride. Here’s what we know!

Logan Paul Offers Stone Cold $1 Million

Stone Cold Steve Austin has always taken great pride in being the highest-paid WWE Superstar on the roster during his time. So, it would seem like a no-brainer that the WWE Hall of Famer would like to make a cool $1 million for working with Logan Paul for one night only. Apparently, there are some things that Austin just won’t do, even with a million bucks on the line.

So, what causes Stone Cold Steve Austin to reject Logan Paul’s offer?  He requested the star be involved in the Logan Paul-AJ Styles match. Sounds innocent enough.  However, The Maverick asked Steve Austin to put on a Prime bottle costume at WrestleMania 41.

As Logan Paul explained on Impaulsive,

“Imagine it. He face-revealed the Prime bottle…and it’s Stone Cold? He could have done anything, which is why it would have worked.”

Instead of Austin, Logan Paul relied on his manager, Jeffrey Levin, to run interference. While Karrion Kross would get involved (and to much fanfare), Steve Austin would have definitely drawn a massive response.

Why Steve Austin Rejects Logan Paul’s WrestleMania Offer

Who wouldn’t want to make $1 million for a 5-minute appearance at WrestleMania? Apparently, it was Stone Cold Steve Austin because he said so. Or at least he said “No” to Logan Paul’s offer to wear a Prime costume.

As Logan Paul said without pause,

“We offered him a million…Like, bro, do you want to get in this bottle? I don’t think he even considered it for a second.”

Stone Cold Steve Austin has a long history of rejecting things that don’t fit his character. The Hall of Famer famously rejected a program with Marc Mero in 1998 after he was Powerbombed by Sable.

He also turned down multiple pitches to work with Jeff Jarrett throughout his career. Steve Austin also walked out in 2002 over creative agreements involving Brock Lesnar and Eddie Guerrero.

In 2005, Steve Austin was set to come out of retirement to face Jonathon Coachman at Taboo Tuesday. However, creative pitched that Austin would lose to Coach. So, Austin pulled out of the matchup. Stone Cold was replaced by Batista, who would go on to squash Coach.

In recent years, Austin has turned down many pitches to return at WrestleMania. Stone Cold finally made his triumphant return, defeating Kevin Owens in the Main Event of WrestleMania 38. Since then, Austin has again turned down many WrestleMania appearances, which led to The Undertaker attacking The Rock in the WrestleMania 40 Main Event between Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns.

While Steve Austin rejects Logan Paul’s ideas, he doesn’t turn down the opportunity to ride an ATV. However, Austin might have crashed into a situation he didn’t anticipate at WrestleMania 41.

Logan Paul On Steve Austin’s ATV Crash

Logan Paul told the story of Steve Austin crashing his ATV on Impaulsive. The podcast host explained that Austin had a lot of problems with the ATV beforehand. The crew on Logan Paul’s podcast speculated whether Austin was drinking beforehand or not. However, they subtly backtracked that he only drank after the crash. Logan Paul noted that some people thought that the woman was faking injury after Steve Austin’s ATV crash.

However, Logan Paul tried to keep it light when summing up Steve Austin’s rejection:

“We offered Steve a million dollars to be in the Prime bottle. He didn’t do it. So, instead, he ran a poor woman over with an ATV.”

The Prime Bottle has a long history at WrestleMania. In fact, the bottle has almost become a Pete Rose-like gag. Instead of Pete Rose as the San Diego Chicken trying to attack Kane every year, the Prime Bottle interferes in Logan Paul’s matches.

In the past, KSI and iShowSpeed have been in the Prime bottle at WrestleMania. This year, we had a Prime bottle-less WrestleMania, although the brand’s marketing was featured throughout the event.
